In line with the objectives set by Al Samra, Intertecs EAM specialists implemented the Infor EAM offerings in a highly cost effective manner.
While transforming Al Samras set up from Infor MP2, a much easier to use software, to Infor EAM, posed to be a major
challenge for Intertecs specialits. The data (Master and Transaction history) transfer from MP2 to InforEAM was a key requirement. However, Intertecs sound technical expertise, change management techniques, ongoing customer support through
esteemed alliance partner, Infor, steered this project successfully.
Infors upgraded version provides a Home Page with Key Performance Indicators and Inbox, track history of all assets from
acquisition to disposal including maintenance planning as well as establishing standard operating work management procedures. With this version, Al Samra O&M team is able to offer proactive maintenance, computerized scheduling, procurement
process, automated reports and documentation. Al Samra has also been able to ensure maximum asset utilization, ideal
preventive maintenance methodologies, map additional information which was not documented in case of MP2 as well as
measure employee productivity. Infor EAM is a 100% web architect application which also reduces the burden of in - house IT
support.
Al Samra continues to explore new opportunities for growth and advancement, and aims to carry on investing in its use of Infor
solutions as well as other solutions upgrade suggested by Intertecs specialists.
