Information about the class
There are 18 teenage learners in the class. They have three forty-five minutes lessons
every week as part of their school curriculum. Mrs. Corina Ceban is their teacher. I will
teaching them for three weeks. This is my third lesson with this class.

Speaking - productive skill
Reading - receptive skill
Writing - productive skill
Listening - receptive skill
GENERAL AIMS:
to arouse the pupils interest in the subject of the new lesson;
allowing to express ideas freely in the topic;
to improve the pupils vocabulary with words related to public forum debate;
to develop communication during class;
to check comprehension;
to make pupils use their previous knowledge.
SPECIFIC AIMS:
- by the end of the lesson:
pupils will be able to use a certain vocabulary related to the topic
pupils will be able to recognise positive, negative and neutral comments
pupils will be able to compare different events, topics
pupils should perceive the oral and written message given by the teacher

The teacher will speak about a forum debate at the page 64, what it is?
3. Activity Three (10 minutes) Listening, Speaking
Reading the ex 4 at the page 64. Speaking about open borders, it benefits and risks?
4. Activity Four (6 minutes) Working in group
Every pair will find an argument For or AGAINST open borders, and comment it. (If they
will not find any argument, teacher will help them with a ticket).
5. Activity Five (7 minutes) Reading, Speaking
Reading the answers of group work and appreciate they.
6. Activity Six (10 minutes) Speaking
The teacher will read For and Against Essays at the page 65, choosing an argument and
speak about it with the pupils.
7. Activity Seven (3 minutes)
Giving the homework and to congratulate the pupils.
