Srila Narrotam das thakur appeared in 1531. Once, Lord Caitanya was visiting Kheturi, when all of
sudden, He started crying: “Narrotam, where are you?” The next day when He was bathing in Padma
river, He gave His love to the river and told her to give it to Narrotam in the future.

A few years later, Narrotam das was born to Krsnananda datta. As a child, he was dark-skinned and had
very beautiful features. One day, he took his bath in river Padma and was gone
for so long that his family became worried. They searched everywhere and
eventually they found him on the river bank. But he had changed. He was now
the same complexion as Lord Caitanya. This was due to him having received the
love of Lord Caitanya through the river Padma. After that, he did not care for
wealth or pleasures, and he ran all the way to Vrindavan.

In the Holy dham, Narrotam accepted Lokanath Goswami as his Guru and
became his only disciple. Following his Guru's instruction, he joined Srinivas
acarya and Syamananda pandit. They studied under Jiva Goswami.

Once Narrotam and his friend Ramachandra Kaviraj saw two handsome brothers taking animals to be
sacrificed in Kali's Temple. They made a plan to convert the boys into followers of Mahaprabhu. They
walked ahead of them and discussed the Karma one gets by killing animals. After hearing this, the boys
fell down at Narrotam's feet and learned spiritual value from him. The father of the two boys was very
upset and requested the great scholar Ganga Narayan Chakravarti to come and defeat Narrotam. They
had a big debate and finally Ganga Narayan accepted defeat and became one of Narrotam's disciples.
Thus Srila Narrotam das Thakur was a very great acarya and wrote many beautiful Vaisnava songs.
Narrotam das thakur is Champaka Manjari in Krsna Lila.

Sri Gadadhara Pandita Goswami appeared on the dark moon

Sri Gadadhara Pandita appeared a year after
Lord Caitanya. Gadai and Nimai were inseparable
as childhood playmates.
Peaceful, renounced, serious, self-composed, and fond of solitude, Gadadhara proved quite a contrast to his
bosom friend Gaura Raya, who was fickle, unsteady, and whimsi-cal. Nimai Pandita regularly teased Gadad-
hara in Ganga Dasa Pandit's tol (school) by challenging him with illogical questions.
From boyhood, Gadadhara Pandita was always in the association of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. The father of
Sri Gadadhara Pandita was Sri Madhava Misra; his mother's name was Sri Ratnavati Devi. They lived close to
the house of Jagannatha Misra in Mayapura. Sri Ratnavati Devi looked upon Sacidevi as if Sacidevi was her
elder sister; the two of them always spent time with each other. Sri Sri Gaura Gadadhar, wor-

tha Puri to be with Lord Caitanya. Accepting ksetra sannyasa (a renunciate who never leaves the dhama), he served the Deity of Tota-
Gopinatha with full love and devotion. It was this Deity of TotaGopinatha that Lord Caitanya entered after concluding his manifest pas-

According to some authorities, a short time after Lord Caitanya's disappearance, Sri Gadadhara Pandit also joined the Lord’s eternal
pastimes by entering his beloved Deity of Tota-Gopinatha.

Ingredients
Baking time: 20-30 minutes

1 1\4 cups - milk powder Procedure:

1 1\4 cups - potato flour 1. Sift the milk powder, potato flour, sugar, and bicarbonate.
