Q.1. What is the difference between Linguistics and Applied

Linguistics?
Linguistics:
When human language is studies from all the aspects this study
of language will be called linguistics. Linguistics is responsible of
equipping us with all the tools which can be a great help of exploring
the structure of language in consideration. It also finds clue to the
elements which are universal in their essence. It also deals with the
question like how language meets various variations with the passage
of time, how language is attained, how it differs from society to
society, how does it gets affected from region to region and how it is
used to communicate within the human society. Does our way of
communication influence our thoughts?

There are various fields which play key roles in their

respective status in the attainment of linguistics. Some of them are
mentioned below:
Discourse: this particular field of linguistics deals with the study of
everyday language used by it speakers.
Multilingualism: sometimes a person happens to be exposed before
more than one language. In this case certainly a person is compelled or
perhaps prepares himself to learn more than one language. Such an
ability as this is called multilingualism.
Sociolinguistics: it deals with the manners and ways in which
language is used in a society. It also deals with its importance in a
society.

Applied Linguistics:
It is the branch of the linguistics in which main emphasize is
put on the application of linguistics theories, methods and findings. It
also copes up with the core issues which produce during the course of
a certain language.
Some of the issues which are posed by applied are as followed:

How can language be taught in an effective manner.

What are the social factors which can influence the learning a
language.
How can modern methods be used in learning language
effectively.
Which are the possible problems which can be traced as the
reason of language disorder.
How can be abstain from the causes which may get existence
as the hurdle in learning a language.

Since the middle of the last century AL has become an important field
of studies. It has attracted the attention of the well-known scholars in it
evaluation. It demanded the magnitude of an important subject which
has some special and comprehensible goals to get. It is the most
interested form for teaching. The salient feature which is being enjoyed
by this field of language is that it is an evergreen and entertaining

process to learn it. As product thought this is joyful to be learnt but as

form to be learnt is also cherishing.
