--------------------Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 features a wide variety of characters
from the show and manga. This is a complete list of every playable character in
the game and their combos. There are other characters and costumes and the
like that are only available as DLC right now, and they are excluded from this
guide.
Thereare some characters that have two different Ultimate Jutsu attacks. You
can swith between their different Ultimate Jutsus at the character select
screen using L1 and R1, as their different Ultimate Jutsus are paired up with
their alternate costumes. Keep in mind that not every character with alternate
costumes also has different Ultimate Jutsu Attacks.
>UNLOCKING CHARACTERS<
To unlock characters, you have a couple of options. You can either earn Ryo,
which is the games currency, by playing multiplayer and completing missions in
Ultimate Adventure, or you can just complete Ultimate Adventure mode to unlock
all the characters.

PROLOGUE: NINE TAILS ATTACKS
============================
The very first thing youll do in the game is be confronted with a choice. This
is an Ultimate Decision. You either choose to go with the Legend or Hero
choice. Whichever you choose will earn you either Legend or Hero points, which
can then be spent to buy new items and for upgrade purposes.
You wind up doing both anyway, but choosing one or the other changes aspects of
the gameplay and story. The stars next to the decisions marks the level of
difficulty that each decision warrants. The more stars, the harder the
difficulty.
\ULTIMATE DECISION/
Mysterious Man (Legend) ****

Minato VS. Masked Man
Battle Conditions:
1. Win battle.
B. Keep Health Gauge at 40% or more.
Remember that your Ultimate Decision will have various effects on the battles.
There can be Secret Actions and Secret Factors depending on which fight you
choose to do first. So, keep in mind of that, and always be ready for QTEs in
the fights.
This fight is very easy. If you start landing a combo on the Masked Man, he is
pretty much completely vulnerable. Mashing on O is actually a pretty viable
strategy for this fight. Use items if you are having trouble, but I doubt that
you will.
Third Hokage VS. Nine Tails
Battle Conditions:
1. Win battle.
B. Keep Health Gauge at 40% or more.
The battle with Nine Tails plays out like a boss fight. Just constantly jump
from roof to roof to avoid its attacks. When Danger appears at the top of
the screen, get the hell out of dodge as that means the Nine Tails is about to
destroy that building.
Get to a building close to the Nine Tails and you can mash on O to do damage.
Another way to do damage as youre running is by pressing square to throw
projectile weapons at the Nine Tails. When the meter below your health bars
fill up, press L1 to launch an attack against Nine Tails, but wait until he
just lands after moving to make sure the move hits.
Reinforcements will start to arrive. Go to them and press the button that it
says to, typically O, to start a QTE. Finish the QTE to earn stars. Keep doing
this and wearing down the Nine Tails until you build up enough stars to get a
full star, which will initiate another QTE that will deal a lot of damage to
the Nine Tails and eventually finish it off.

CHAPTER 1: THE FIVE KAGE SUMMIT
===============================
Welcome to the free roaming aspect of the game. You can walk around the village
and get side missions and explore and whatever. Watch for bags of money on the
ground that you can pick up. Pay attention to the mini-map. The red arrow will
point you where you need to go to complete the main quests all the time.
What you need to do first is move up the stairs. Keep going until a cut-scene
plays. When thats done with, grab the bag of coins thats on the ground and
then go over to the pot and break the pot by pressing O. Then use the map to
find your way to the people that need the birdhouse parts and talk with them.
This is technically a side quest, but it is one that you have to complete so
the game can teach you about the concept of side quests and what-not.
When thats done, follow the red arrow again and another cut-scene will
interrupt Narutos quest for ramen. Go through the dialogue and watch the
scenes. When thats done, start making your way to the Hokage mansion.
Nartuo VS. Yamato
Battle Conditions:
1. Win battle
B. Perform a 20-hit combo.
Another easy fight. This is a good time to practice the basics of the game. Try
to do the Ultimate Jutsu. The game will tell you when this is active. Hold
triangle, double tap triangle, and then press O, and Naruto will perform his
ultimate jutsu to finish the guy off.
When thats done, go through the cut-scenes. When you are in control of Naruto
again, run up the snowy hill to trigger the next fight. However, make sure you
are healed from the previous encounters. You can accomplish this by using
healing items in the menu. Youll want a full health bar because you have to do
two fights right in a row.
Naruto VS. Raikage
Battle Conditions:
1. Win battle.
2. Opponents Attack Power up.
B. Keep Health Gauge at 40% or more.
This is the fight that teaches you about using teammates. Naruto can call
upon his teammates by pressing R1 or L1 in the fight. Of course, you have to
wait for their gauges to be full before calling upon them.
Naruto VS. Madara
Battle Conditions:
1. Win battle.
B. Use support attack 4 times.
Upon completing the second fight, you switch to Sasuke. Speak with the man
with the green grocery bag floating above his head and buy a ton of healing
items off him before continuing through the door. In this room, you have to
fight a bunch of grunts in a no-condition mob battle.
This is here just to teach you what mob battles are. Basically, they are like
beat em ups. When you defeat one enemy, you have an opportunity to hit X and
zoom over to another one real quick. Sometimes you can unleash a special
attack by performing a combo, which will be told to you because it will appear
on screen, and then if you hit each button that flashes on screen, you can
deal damage to everyone at once.
Sasuke VS. Raikage
Battle Conditions:
1. Win battle.

2. Opponents Attack Power up.

B. Finish opponent with Ninjutsu.
In this battle, your opponent will also have access to teammates. Remember you
can call upon your team members by pressing R1 or L1. Use this to your
advantage in this fight and the next fight as well.
Sasuke VS. Gaara
Battle Conditions:
1. Win battle.
B. Keep Health Gauge at 60% or more.
Mob Battle
Battle Conditions:
1. Go to the Five Kage Summit Hall!
B. Keep Health Gauge at 40% or more.
As you move through these halls, youll have to do a serious of mob battles.
They are easy enough, so dont stress about it. By pressing L1 or R1, Sasuke
can be healed by his partner if you stay in the green circle she makes on the
ground. Use this to make Sasuke at full health after each encounter.
\ULTIMATE DECISION/
Peerless Sword (Legend) ****

Mob Battle
Battle Conditions:
1. Go to the Five Kage Sumit Hall!
B. Keep Health Gauge at 40% or more.
Basically, Legend will make you fight a ton more enemies in the mob battles. If
you choose the Hero route, then you will fight much less and its much easier.
At the end of the mob battles, then you will have to fight a mob boss thats a
little tougher. Kill the other guys first. Leave at least one guy alive until
you have healed yourself first.
Sasuke VS. Mizukage
Battle Conditions:
1. Win battle.
2. Opponents Attack Power up.
B. Keep Health Gauge at 40% or more.
This fight is marked by the fact that Sasuke is all alone in this one, but the
Mizukage has two partners to send after you.

CHAPTER 2: TEAM 7 ASSEMBLES
===========================
Exploring this snow area is sort of pointless because, practically after every
screen, you are thrust into a fight. Theres stuff to check out on the sides a
bit, but really, theres nothing to this chapter except fight after fight after
fight, so buckle in!
Naruto VS. Itachi
Battle Conditions:
1. Win battle.
B. Finish opponent with Ninjutsu.
Killer Bee VS. Kisame
Battle Conditions:
1. Win battle.

2. Enemy attack shaves away chakra.

B. Finish enemy in Awakened status.
This fight allows you to play as Killer Bee, the third playable character in
the game. He also has a tailed-demon inside him. His is an octopus. Well, his
Ultimate Ninjutsu allows for exactly that. To awaken the beast inside him,
hold triangle when his health is low. A secret action here is to finish off
Kisame in Awakened status with your Ultimate Jutsu.
Sakura VS. Sai
Battle Conditions:
1. Win battle.
B. Keep Health Gauge at 60% or more.
And now Sakura is up to bat. The fight with Sai is particularly easy. When
youre done with the Sakura stuff, you move on to a fight where you can play
as Sasuke before returning to Naruto.
Sasuke VS. Danzo
Battle Conditions:
1. Win battle.
B. End it with Ultimate Jutsu.
Naruto VS. Yamato
Battle Conditions:
1. Win battle.
B. Finish opponent with Ninjutsu.
Sakura VS. Sasuke

Finally, you will be Naruto again and get into a fight with Sasuke.
Naruto VS. Sasuke
Battle Conditions:

The fight with Sasuke is broken up into two phases. The first phase plays out
like a regular match. When his health has been drained efficiently, you are
then treated to a series of QTEs and flashback scenes. When thats done with,
its time to make the

Reunion (Legend) ****
Day of Parting (Hero) ***
Make your decision and continue the fight. There will be flashback scenes where
you play as Naruto from the original show in Fox form as he fought with
Sasuke in the valley. During these segments, Sasuke will be more aggressive,
but with the power of the fox, youll be a lot stronger as well. The health
bars translate from the current time and flashback scenes, so attacks landed
in the flashback scenes will make the present day battle go much faster.
When enough damage has been done to Sasuke, a massive string of QTEs will be
triggered. Do your best to complete them for the most points at the end of this
bout.

CHAPTER 3: TWO JINCHURIKI
=========================
Do whatever you want in the Leaf village and then head to the front gate when
ready. Speak with Guy, and that will initiate a pretty simple battle with him.
Naruto VS. Guy
Battle Conditions:
1. Win battle.
2. Opponents Attack Power up.
B. Perform a 25-hit combo.
Move through the wooded areas once you have control of Naruto again. You then
have a fight with Dark Naruto. Basically, he has your moveset. Theres no
Dark Link nonsense going on in that fight. Following that one, you have a
fight with Killer Bee that is also pretty easy. You have a chance to heal
in between these fights, so take that opportunity.
Naruto VS. Dark Naruto
Battle Conditions:
1. Win battle.
B. Keep Health Gauge at 60% or more.
Naruto VS. Killer Bee
Battle Conditions:
1. Win battle.
B. Ultiate Jutsu hits 1 times.
Theres side quests and plenty of NPCs to talk to in the area by the waterfall,
but you can choose to ignore that all and just jump on the middle island. Doing
so will result in another fight with Dark Naruto that is exactly the same
fight as the first one.
Naruto VS. Dark Naruto
Battle Conditions:
1. Win battle.
B. End it with Ultimate Jutsu.

CHAPTER 4: THE BIRTH OF NARUTO
==============================
Walk through the waterfall into the temple.
Naruto VS. Nine Tails Fox
Battle Conditions:
1. Win battle.
B. Keep Health Gauge at 60% or more.

Use Your Own Strength (Legend) *****
Powerful Tag Team (Hero) ***
This entire chapter is a fight against the Fox, pretty much, so buckle up. If
you choose the Hero route, you get Killer Bee to help you out for the first
phase of the fight. If Legend, you do the whole thing solo, and believe me, it
is much harder.
In the first phase, the Fox runs around freely, shooting balls of red chakra
in the air that crash on the ground. You can dodge these by watching their
shadows on the ground and moving away from the shadows. The Fox will also
try to smash Naruto with its hand, so be sure to turn into a log or simply
get out of the way. By the way, if you press L2 just before an attack, Naruto
will turn into a log and completely avoid the attack.

Get close to him and wail on him with combo attacks. Dont bother using your
jutsu, as he tends to jump around a lot. If you chose the Hero path, you can
call on Killer Bee to do serious damage to Nine Tails, but you have to wait
for the gauge to fill and you have to make sure Nine Tails is still to land the
attack properly.
When the Nine Tails has had one health bar completely drained and the other
taken down by about a quarter, a QTE segment will occur. Go through the QTEs,
and then youll have to continue fighting him on your own. This time he will
fire the chakra balls straight at you along with his other attacks, all of
which become more dangerous.
Just keep at it. Take time to pelt him with kunai from afar to slowly chip
away at his health meter. Hell get staggered and be left wide open to a
Rasengan attack if you can get close enough. Rasengan is Narutos jutsu and
can be activated by pressing triangle and O together. Keep at it and then watch
the cut-scenes.
When thats over with, the Fox will be chained up. When the meter below your
health bar fills up, you can use L1 or R1 to tighten the chains around the
Fox, leaving him open to a flurry of attacks from you. This is a good time to
use Rasengan on him.
This part of the battle is easier than the first phase since the Fox cant
move. He will swipe at Naruto, which is easily dodged by running out of range
of the Foxs hand. He will also swipe the ground and cause beams to rush at
Naruto, but you can dodge these pretty easily as well just by stepping in
between them. The Fox can smash the ground and cause a shockwave, so jump to
avoid damage when that happens.
His most dangerous attack is the powerful beam he blasts. However, logging it
up, so to speak, as soon as the blast is about to hit Naruto allows you to
easily dodge it. If you have problems with timing, mashing L2 will work just as
well for this.
More QTEs will result in the fight being finished and then an absurd amount of
cut-scenes. When thats done, youll be controlling Narutos support from the
Fox fight back at the village. Here you can talk to NPCs and do whatever, but
she moves very slowly. Go across the bridge and speak with the person with the
exclamation mark over their head and tell them that youre ready to go with
them.

CHAPTER 5: PLOTTING BEHIND THE SCENES
=====================================
As Guy, move through the woods until you reach the Waterfall of Truth.
Approach the Waterfall to start a battle with Kisame.
Guy VS. Kisame
Battle Conditions:
1. Win battle.
2. Enemy attack shaves away chakra.
B. End it with Ultimate Jutsu.
And from there, youll be thrown immediately into another battle
Konan VS. Madara
Battle Conditions:
1. Win battle.
B. End it with Ultimate Jutsu.
And then another, but Naruto will be super-powered here. The fight with Killer
Bee is actually VERY easy to get the bonus condition fulfilled. Just use your
substitution jutsu and get behind him, then wail on him with attacks. Mash on O
and youll be fine and should never even have to use your jutsu.

Naruto VS. Killer Bee

Battle Conditions:
1. Win battle.
2. Opponents Attack Power up.
B. Keep Chakra Gauge at 60% or more.
The next fight is also fairly easy. You have two supports as Tsuchikage and
Deidara doesnt have any. Spamming your jutsu is particularly effective if you
are having trouble here, while also throwing out your support partners to keep
Deidara busy.
Tsuchikage VS. Deidara
Battle Conditions:
1. Win battle.
B. Use Ninjutsu 4 times.
Follow the red arrows on the map to reach your next destination as Yamato. The
next battle is harder, but using your support strategically here will be key.
Yamato VS. Kabuto
Battle Conditions:
1. Win battle.
B. Use support attack 4 times.

CHAPTER 6: THE OUTBREAK OF WAR
==============================
Kankuro vs. Deidara
Battle Conditions:
1. Win battle.
B. Use support attack 2 times.
Get ready for a huge pain. Kankuro is a puppet master, and so fighting with
him is ENTIRELY different than fighting with anyone else youve used in the
game so far. The trick is to keep your distance and keep your puppets in
between you and Deidara. Deidara will throw exploding birds and crap at you,
so throw kunai to block them or get out of the way.
Use your support as much as possible as well, and if you can land jutsu, then
you will deal a ton of damage. It will probably take a little bit of practice,
but this fight is not impossible.
Next you will be face to face with the strategy map for the war. You can choose
to check out the progress of First Company, Second Company, Third Company, or
Fifth Company in any order. After looking at everyone, click on Third Company
again to check out the battle conditions.
Mifune VS. Hanzo
Battle Conditions:
1. Win battle.
2. Enemys attack will lethally poison you.
3. Poison doesnt work on enemy.
B. End it with Ultimate Jutsu.
Hanzo is able to deal poison damage, so after a single attack lands, your
health will constantly deplete for a limited time. So, avoid his attacks as
best as possible as you continue the fight.
Youll be taken back to the map after that battle is over. Second Company will
win their battle, and First Company wont be selectable right now. Instead,
you will be able to jump in the battle with Fifth Company.
Kakashi VS. Zabuza
Battle Conditions:

1. Win battle.
B. Finish opponent with Ninjutsu.
Perspective then shifts to Guy, Sakura, and Lee. You can choose to fight the
swordsmen individually, which will take longer (but it will be easier, and you
get to go between the three different characters), or fight them all at once
with a ton of other enemies helping them, and having Sakura and Lee only as
supports.
\ULTIMATE DECISION/
Wipe Them All Out (Legend) ******
Defeat Each One (Hero) ***
Guy, Lee, and Sakura VS. The Seven Swordsmen
Battle Conditions:
1. Win battle.
B. Keep Health Gauge at 40% or more.
When you drain their health meters low enough, just run up and press O on them
to initiate their defeat. If you chose the Hero route, youll start the fights
as Sakura against one swordsman. Then you will have to fight off two swordsmen
as Rock Lee with Sakura for support. Then you have to fight three swordsmen at
once with Guy, plus Rock Lee and Sakura as supports. This entire sequence
functions like the mob battles.
Kakashi VS. Zabuza
Battle Conditions:
1. Win battle.
B. Keep Health Gauge at 80% or more.
Drain Zabuzas first health bar down like a typical battle, and then youre
thrown into QTE sequences.

CHAPTER 7: MORTAL COMBAT ON THE COAST
=====================================
Mob Battle time again! Run by all the enemies and to the red arrow on the map.
There will be a couple of times where you have to fight a boss flanked by
other enemies, so get rid of them and then just continue to the red arrow on
the map.
Once you reach that red arrow, youll have to take on two pretty tough mob
battle bosses at a time. Try to focus on one at a time and ignore the other
enemies as they dont pose a threat at all. When theyre both dead, youre
sent back to the strategy HQ map. Go to First Company when you are ready and
view the battle conditions.
Shikamaru VS. Asuma
Battle Conditions:
1. Win battle.
B. End it with Ultimate Jutsu.
In Shikamarus battle with Asuma, you will have Choji and Ino as supports. Do
not bother using Choji as support, because he will refuse to fight Asuma in
this fight and he turns out to be completely useless here. Ino is fine to use
and if you find yourself trapped in an Asuma combo, throw her out there real
quick to help take the ehat off.
Choji, Ino, and Shikamaru VS. Asuma
Battle Conditions:
1. Win battle.
B. Use support attack 4 times.

Choji resolves to fight Asuma, with his glowing butterfly wings and all. This
is the Choji equivalent of Narutos super state, in which you are able to
basically roll Asuma without too much hassle. If you need the extra help, then
Ino and Shikamaru are there as your supports.
\ULTIMATE DECISION/
Chojis Resolve (Legend) ******
Accept Support (Hero) ****
Most of the time I would recommend that if you arent very good at the game to
go the Hero route, and if you are good at the game, go the Legend route. In
this scenario, theres really no reason NOT to do the Legend route. You will
get more points, and the support here is pretty useless anyway.
Choji VS. Gedo Statue
Battle Conditions:
1. Win battle.
B. Keep Health Gauge at 40% or more.
In this boss fight, Choji is gigantic like the statue. Its like a Power
Rangers Zord battle, or a Godzilla fight or whatever. The controls and the way
everything works is entirely different for this fight. Basically, you will
want to get as close to the statue as possible while avoiding its attacks. To
avoid the attacks, tilt the left analog stick to the left or right and tap X
to make Choji dash and hopefully avoid taking damage.
When you get in close, mash the O on the statue. You can also stun him by
pressing square, which will cause Choji to chuck a boulder at the statue. You
can also use jutsu to deal more damage, which will rip a chunk of the statues
health.
When the first health bar is depleted, the statue will become more powerful.
In this state, it will block your moves better and will also attack you a lot
more. Keep on him with the same strategy. When he has a quarter of health left,
you will do a series of QTEs to finish off the battle.

CHAPTER 8: TWO SUNS
===================
Naruto VS. Killer Bee
Battle Conditions:
1. Win battle.
B. Keep Chakra Gauge at 80% or more.
At full power, Naruto has no problem with Killer Bee. When the battle is over,
leave the ruins. After the scenes, run across the battlefield to the woods,
which will trigger another battle. You have to fight Raikage twice. One time as
Killer Bee, and the next as Naruto. I recommend healing Naruto from the Killer
Bee fight before you start the battle against Raikage.
Killer Bee VS. Raikage
Battle Conditions:
1. Win battle.
2. Opponents Attack Power up.
B. Keep Health Gauge at 40% or more.
Naruto VS. Raikage
Battle Conditions:
1. Win battle.
2. Opponents Attack Power up.
B. Finish opponent with Ninjutsu.

CHAPTER 9: FIGHT OF THE KAGE
============================
Basically this entire level is a sequence of fights. Sure, theres some walking
around if you so wish, but for the most part, you are just thrust into one
battle after another. Remember that in between the fights, you can customize
your loadout and heal your characters or do whatever else, so dont forget to
do that because you use the same characters multiple times.
Naruto VS. Itachi
Battle Conditions:
1. Win battle.
B. Substitution Jutsu succeeds 6 times.
Naruto VS. Nagato
Battle Conditions:
1. Win battle.
B. Keep Health Gauge at 60% or more.
After Naruto defeats both Itachi and Nagato, he loses his powers and becomes
regular Naruto again.
Tsuchikage VS. 2nd Tsuchikage
Battle Conditions:
1. Win battle.
B. Keep Health Gauge at 60% or more.
Gaara VS. The Fourth Kazekage
Battle Conditions
1. Win battle.
2. Opponents Defense Power up.
B. Keep Health Gauge at 60% or more.
The Gaara vs. 2nd Mizukage battle is probably the toughest out of all these.
Your supports are useless against this guy, and not only that, but his attacks
are entirely distance based. Using Tsuchikage as support can sometimes be
helpful in knocking him down from afar so that you can get up close.
The battlefield is huge, and Gaara moves like a turtle, so just getting close
enough to start attacking is a real challenge. If you have any items to use,
now is the time to use them, especially if youre having issues getting to him.
Once you get close enough, you should be able to land quite a few combos
without too much trouble, unless he gets away from you again.
Gaara VS. 2nd Mizukage
Battle Conditions
1. Win battle.
B. Finish opponent with Ninjutsu.
Naruto VS. The Third Raikage
Battle Conditions:
1. Win battle.
2. Enemy can break your guard more easily.
3. Both players will receive some damage even if they Guard.
B. Finish opponent with Ninjutsu.
Tsuchikage VS. Madara
Battle Conditions:
1. Win battle.
B. End it with Ultimate Jutsu.
Hokages vs. Madara
Battle Conditions:
1. Win battle.
B. Keep Health Gauge at 60% or more.

From this point on, the battle shifts quite significantly. All the Hokages take
on Madara. You control Tsunade directly, but basically every attack you land
will also feature another Kage showing up to help. You have this plus the
supports to use during the first phase of the Madara fight, which is actually
very easy.
The second phahse of the Madara fight is not quite as easy. He will retreat to
higher areas and start hitting you with projectiles. Dodge these to the best of
your abilities and rush him when he hits the ground. Spam supports as much as
possible to wear down his health meter. QTEs will be featured heavily once
this health meter has been drained, but the battle is not yet over.
\ULTIMATE DECISION/
The Power of the Five Kage (Legend) ********
Creation Rebirth (Hero) ******
Legend will mean that you have to complete this fight without healing. I
honestly dont know why they rated the difficult of this so highIn reality,
dodging Maradas attacks is quite simple. In the meantime, Hero difficulty
gives the Kages permission to use forbidden jutsu that you can activate with
L1 or R1, kind of like supports, and Tsunade will then be healed. If you are
confident enough, definitely go with Legend on this one.
In the fight proper, you will be floating around on a cloud. Throw kunai at
Madara while avoiding his attacks. He will swing his swords, but there will be
a white line that appears on the screen showing you the arc of his sword swing,
so its actually pretty easy to dodge these. Use jutsu whenever, and dont
forget if you took the Hero route that you can always heal yourself if needed.
Eventually he will be staggered, and youll be prompted to press O. Do this,
and then continue the fight. Hell now have more powerful attacks, and you
wont be able to land direct hits without first breaking his shields. To break
his shields, just spam kunai at him while constantly moving around him in a
circle to dodge the fireballs he now spews. When the shields are broken, you
are free to attack. Youll have to repeat this until his health bar is
depleted, which will, you guessed it, result in a very long QTE sequence. So
keep your hands on that controller!

FINAL CHAPTER: THE WAY TO PEACE
===============================
Follow the red arrows. If you stray off the beaten path, there will be goodies
to be had. Youll come across two different merchants. You wont be able to
use items pretty soon anyway, so you can mess with them if you really want,
but otherwise, just buckle up for a very seriously challenging chapter.
The Last Battle
Battle Conditions:
1. Win battle.
B. Keep Health Gauge at 60% or more.
\ULTIMATE DECISION/
Head-On Fight (Legend) ********
Split Up to Fight (Hero) ***
Mob boss fights! Legend means that you fight everyone alone as Killer Bee with
Naruto as support. If you choose Hero, you are able to knock a few off first
alone as Naruto, and then you will join up with Killer Bee and finish beating
them out as Killer Bee.
The Last Battle (2)
Battle Conditions:

1. Win battle.
B. Keep Health Gauge at 60% or more.
The second phase of the fight is extremely tough. First you have to take out
Tobis first health bar. When that is done, he will send out the different
beast animals at you one at a time. This is where the battle gets tough. You
need to learn to use substitute to avoid their attacks, and constantly jump
up and hit them with Rasengan in the air. You need to time it so that you
activate the jutsu at the top of the jump.
When a few are beat, Tobi will jump back down and try to fight you again.
Drain about a meter and a half worth of health from him and then he will
retreat and start sending more Beasts after you again.
You can also call forth the eight-tailed beast to deal a good chunk of damage,
which will take away about a quarter of any of the beasts health. The toughest
beast is the Seven-Tailed Beast, which is a flying enemy. It is tough to hit
it at all with Naruto, and the giant balls of fire it shoots are very hard to
dodge.
The best strategy is to just wait for the meter to be filled, and then send
the octopus to nail the Seven-Tailed Beast at just the right time. It will
take about 10 times or so to beat it. Then watch the scenes and go through the
QTEs to trigger the final part of the battle.
The Last Battle (3)
Battle Conditions:
1. Win battle.
B. Keep Health Gauge at 60% or more.
You will now be in full control of Nine Tails. You have to fight each Beast
one at a time. If you have about 75% of the jutsu bar filled, you can fire a
powerful blast of chakra that will take away an entire health bar. The trick
is to nail this, rush them, and then wail on the Beasts. Retreat, dodge their
special attacks, and then charge the jutsu and do it again. The toughest Beast
will again be the Seven-Tailed Beast, as it is able to dodge your jutsu
easily. Youll need to rush and get in very close before activating it.
The final sequences are QTEs and cut-scenes. When youre done getting through
all of those, enjoy the credits. You just beat the campaign of Naruto:

--------------------5. Multiplayer
--------------------Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 features a variety of multiplayer
modes and options. This section will give a brief description of these modes,
and explanations about the multiplayer features in the game.
SOLO AND TEAM BATTLES

Match types are separated into two distinct categories. Theres Solo and Team
Battles. Solo battles are just one on one fights, as can be expected. With
Team Battles, however, players are able to choose two other characters on the
roster as their supports.
With supports, you can press L1 or R1 when the support meters are full to call
on them in the middle of battle to deal damage to the opponent or offer a
distraction. Team Battles allow for other special attacks, such as Team
Ultimate Jutsus, which deal more damage than regular ones.
Players can save up to five different pre-built teams. They can be accessed by
clicking on the blue icon on the bottom right hand corner of the character
select screen.

FREE PLAY

This is all the offline multiplayer modes under one umbrella. Players are able
to set up matches against other players and against the computer. Various
settings can be changed, such as the basic rules and stats of the characters in
the game.
ONLINE PLAY

Online Play offers the same content as Free Play, except with online
implications. The game uses matchmaking to put players into online matches
against other players. Private matches allow you to make the same different
setting alterations available in Free Play, but playing in ranked matches does
not allow this type of customization
TOURNAMENTS

Tournaments can be set up in a variety of sizes. The rules in these tournaments

can similarly be customized.
PRACTICE

This is the place to go to practice for the multiplayer. Choose the character
you want to play with, and then you can practice against a computer that just
stands there and takes it. You can check out the different combos available to
your character in the pause menu, and also see what items your character
starts out with when you begin a fight.
