NOTICE REGARDING PAYMENT OF MESS CHARGES
All students and research scholars are required to pay the mess charges for the academic
session 2016-17 as per the following terms and conditions.
1. All the students and research scholars who have been allotted room in ISM hostel on or
before 30th June 2013 are required to deposit Rs.15,000/- (Rupees fifteen thousand
only) per student as Mess Charge for the Monsoon Semester, 2016-17.
2. The students and research scholars who have been allotted room in ISM hostel on or
after 1st July 2013 are required to deposit Rs.30,000/- (Rupees thirty thousand only) per
student as Mess Charge for the entire academic year, i,e,, 2016-17.
3. A student shall deposit the mess charge to the warden of the concerned hostel through a
demand draft drawn in favour of the hostel concerned or through electronic money
transfer to the concerned hostel bank account.
4. No student will be allotted/allowed to stay in the hostel unless he/she pays the mess
charges to the warden of the concerned hostel within the stipulated date.
5. All Students/Research Scholars must pay their mess charges latest by July 22, 2016
(Friday), failing which the allotment of room will be cancelled.
6. No student shall be allowed to register in any semester unless the student pays the mess
charges to the Warden of the concerned hostel.
7. A Mess Leave Register shall be maintained by the wardens of each hostel, so that at the
end of each semester the amount outstanding/amount to be refunded can be calculated
for the students/research scholars who were allotted room in ISM hostel before 1st July
2013.
However, in case of students/research scholars who were allotted room in ISM hostel on
or after 1st July 2013, the amount outstanding/amount to be refunded shall be calculated
at the end of the academic year only.
8. In case of any refund of mess charges, the amount will be directly credited to the bank
account of the concerned student at the end of each semester for the students/research
scholars joined ISM hostel before 1st July 2013.
However, for the students/research scholars joined ISM hostel on or after 1st July 2013,
the amount of refund shall be credited to their respective bank account at the end of the
academic year only.
9. In case of any amount outstanding against a student, he/she will be asked to deposit the
said amount to the warden of the concerned hostel by demand draft within the prescribed
time limit.
The students can deposit mess charges through an Account. Payee Demand Draft drawn in
favour of the hostel concerned where the students will be staying and payable at Dhanbad.
Alternatively, the students can transfer the mess charges to the bank account of the concerned
hostel and produce the money transfer receipt to the warden of the hostel.
