The candidate must bring this e-Admit Card at the respective Examination Centre along with original photo ID proof viz. Office/Student ID, passport, Voter
Card, Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Driving License for verification.
No candidate shall be permitted in the examination centre if he/she will not be carrying e-admit Card and photo ID proof.
The password for the online examination will be provided to the candidate 10 minutes before the commencement of examination.
In order to familiarize with the ONLINE test (Computer Based), the candidates are advised to go through the demo (mock test) link available on the website
www.esic.nic.in.
The candidates are requested to reach at examination centre as per Reporting Time given above. The main gate will be closed half an hour before the
commencement of the test. late coming is not allowed.
No request for change in examination centre will be considered under any circumstances.
Candidate must bring two Ball Point Pens (Black/Blue). The scratch paper will be provided for rough work. On completion of the test, candidates will have
to return all the scratch papers to the Invigilator(s). The medium of the question paper will be bilingual i.e. Hindi and English.
Candidates are not allowed to carry any textual material, calculators, mobile phone, pager or any other electronic devices inside the examination room/hall
and the Examination Centre. ESIC will not be responsible for any loss in this regard.
In case your e-Admit-Card is without scanned photograph/wrong/dull photograph, the candidates are advised to bring 2 recent colored passport size
photographs at the examination centre for further necessary action.
The details printed on this admit card must be checked by the candidate. In case of any misprinting/error in the admit card, the candidate is advised to
personally report at Facilitation Counter in the city on one day before the date of examination i.e,20th May,2016 along with 2 passport size photographs
and documentary evidence/certificates etc. so that necessary corrections are made and fresh admit card is issued accordingly. The address of Facilitation
Counter will be made available at ESIC website.
The Candidates appearing in the online examination should, in their own interest, check their eligibility in all respects so as to avoid cancellation of
candidature at any stage of recruitment process. (Note: Your candidature for the online exam is "PURELY PROVISIONAL" pending detailed scrutiny of your
fulfilling the eligibility conditions for the post as per the recruitment rules of ESIC. In the event of any information or part of it being found false or incorrect
or incomplete before or after the exam or appointment, action can be taken against you by the ESIC and your candidature/appointment shall automatically
stand cancelled/terminated).
No candidate shall be allowed to leave the Exam Room/Hall before the completion of the scheduled time of the test.
Any candidate, who is found copying/receiving/giving assistance or using unfair means during the exam, will be disqualified.
Any query/concerns of the candidates related to any question(s) should be submitted / forwarded to The Director (Recruitment), ESI Corporation at the
above-mentioned address, within 7 days from the date of conduct of the examination, any representation received in this regard thereafter will not be
entertained.
There will be a provision of Biometric thumb impression, videography of the candidates and surveillance through CCTV.Appropriate action under the law
will be taken against the candidate(s) in the event of impersonation established. Candidates are advised not to disturb/ communicate with other candidates,
use of unfair means during the exam.
Candidates are also advised to read the General Instructions carefully for ONLINE examination as enclosed with this Admit Card.

Total duration of examination is mentioned in the Admit Card.


The clock will be set at the server. The countdown timer in the top right corner of screen will display the
remaining time available for you to complete the examination. When the timer reaches zero, the
examination will end by itself. You will not be required to end or submit your examination.
The Question Palette displayed on the right side of screen will show the status of each question using one of
the following symbols:

The Marked for Review status for a question simply indicates that you would like to look at that question again. If a
question is answered and Marked for Review, your answer for that question will not be considered in the
evaluation.
Navigating to a Question :

To answer a question, do the following:


a. Click on the question number in the Question Palette to go to that question directly.
b. Click on Save & Next to save your answer for the current question and then go to the
next question.
c. Click on Mark for Review & Next to save your answer for the current question, mark it
for review, and then go to the next question.
d. Caution: Note that your answer for the current question will be not be saved, if you
navigate to another question directly (without saving the answer) by clicking on its
question number.

Answering a Question :

Procedure for answering a multiple choice type question:


a. To select your answer, click on the button of one of the options.
b. To deselect your chosen answer, click on the button of the chosen option again or click
on the Clear Response button.
c. To change your chosen answer, click on the button of another option.
d. To save your answer, you MUST click on the Save & Next button.
e. To mark the question for review, click on the Mark for Review & Next button. If an
answer is selected for a question that is Marked for Review, that answer will not be
considered in the evaluation.
