The High Commission of Canada seeks to create a pool of qualified candidate to be used as
required to fill future vacancy in the mission. We are looking for energetic and reliable team
players to provide support to the security programs of the mission. The successful candidates will
be highly collaborative and detail-oriented professionals who take active roles in both day-today
functions as well as within a team.

Mandatory Qualifications:
Education: Government recognized Bachelors Level University degree in any discipline.
Language: A superior command of English and Bangla is essential both orally and in writing.
Experience:
At least three (3) years of recent (within the past five (5) years), relevant work experience
working as Security Officer or Political Officer with an international organization or
diplomatic mission.

Job Resume:
Under the direction and supervision of the Regional Security Program Manager, the incumbent
will work in a client-service orientated security team environment. The Security Program
Officer (with a government of Canada ERC clearance) may be tasked to do the following:
Selection Procedure:
All applications will be carefully reviewed against the mandatory and desired requirements of
the job. Candidates screened in will be contacted for further assessment including: a personal
interview with a series of questions designed to evaluate each applicants knowledge, abilities,
competencies and personal suitability for the position. In addition, tests may be conducted to
assist the selection board in assessing the applicants qualifications, skills and language ability.
Reference verifications shall be conducted as a part of the hiring process.
The results of this competition may also be used to establish an eligibility list to staff similar
openings which may arise in the twelve (12) months following the completion of this
competition.
Conditions of Employment (Must Be Met):
The appointment of the successful candidate will be subject to a Reliability Check (RC) obtained
by the Management. To conduct the Reliability Check (RC), the candidate will have to submit
the following documents on being selected by the mission.
Letter of recognition from your bank stating your name, years of client service and your
address;
Professional and educational certificates and mark sheets (i.e., academic transcripts).
