facility in Saudi Arabia, a US$438 million transaction. 2. Advising on a US$1.7 billion facility to 28 special purpose vehicles owned by COSCO (Cayman) Mercury Co., Ltd., for the acquisition of 20 4,250 TEU and eight 13,350 TEU container vessel new buildings to be chartered to COSCO Container Lines Co (COSCON). 3. Advising Standard Chartered Bank in connection with the Deal of the Year as awarded by the Sea trade Middle East and Indian Subcontinent Awards 2010. This was a US$352 million yard financing for two jack-up drilling rigs, which were the first of their type to be constructed at ABG Shipyard in India. 4. Advising Swedish freight ferry operator Stena Line Scandinavia AB on the acquisition of five ferry routes from German shipping company Scandlines GmbH. We advised on the acquisition, including ownership, charter or lease rights to five vessels, operations at seven ports, the transfer of employees engaged ashore and at sea and the transfer of contractual agreements. 5. Advising shipbuilder-bringing claims against a European ship purchase for wrongful cancellation of ship building contract in arbitration proceedings in London. 6. Advising clients such as BHP Petroleum, MMG, Teekay, Department of Defence, Xstrata, PTTEP and Commonwealth Bank of Australia on ship sale and purchase as well as drydocking contracts both in Australia and Singapore. Before High Court of Gujarat as a lead: 1. Had been advising ACT Shipping Co. Ltd. Since 2014 on various aspects relating to maritime law. Also handling their three arbitrations involving the aspects of Vessel Contract and multimodal transportation of goods. 2. Had advised Aatash Group of Companies in their disputes with regard to their counterparts in relation to their cross border issues on vessel contracts, Performance contracts. This also involved representing Aatash Nor Control for Arbitration with Gujarat Maritime Board.
3. Advising Creative Info IT, Inc. U.S.A, on their commercial
aspects and arbitration issues with their counter part on performance of Contract for the development aspect. 4. Advising Kandla Port Trust as well as Gujarat Maritime Law on various drafting and conveyance of their documents especially commercial contracts of maritime transactions.
