During the early years and even in the decade of the 30s and 40s
handicraft production was the first SCM manufactured machines that
were purchased between 80 and 100 thousand cigarettes per minute,
then were replaced by 1-90 that occurred between 1200 and 1500
cigarettes per minute , until now modern machines that can produce up
to 6,500 cigarettes per minute .
From 2000 BAT consolidated its operations in Central and became the
only factory of the Group (BATCCA) British American Tobacco in
Central America; the concentration of operations in Honduras involves
a series of activities that generate added value. Currently, TAHSA
retains its status as a company dedicated to manufacturing of
cigarettes that supplies the entire Central Market and some Caribbean
countries.

In this part of the report it is where the student breaks down each of the
activities in the Professional Practice in the department, in order to
present the management skills and knowledge acquired at the Instituto
Tecnologico Bilingual Perfect.
For recycling there are three types of dumps properly labeled and
color; Blue (paper and cardboard), Gray (Plastic and clean aluminum)
and Green (Common wastes). As another point within the induction is
the reduction of accidents, using adequate protection for use of the
plant, warehouses and other locations within the company.
