INTRODUCTION
Today we can say the importance of management technology to personal and group level in the
world for this is of utmost importance to differentiate the advantages and disadvantages of each
one of the web 1.0 and 2.0 as starting from there described the evolutionary path in the
information required by each of the browsers.
For that the knowledge of different technological tools is very important, not only for general
knowledge also is requirement in different spaces work, study, social life, etc. it is necessary has
the basic knowledge because you will be a analphabet person. A person that known about
technology has more opportunities in many things that another person that denies to learn about
it.

DEFINITION OF WEB 2.0

WEB

2.0

(Social

network

the

collaboration)

It refers to a second generation of Web-based user communities and a special range of services,
such as social networks, blogs, wikis and folksonomies, which promote collaboration and rapid
exchange of information between users, where astaticism pages becomes transformed into an
array of user interaction with the network itself may include your own information into the
system, creating or non-interactive and visual webs. That is, the Web 2.0 sites act more as

meeting points, websites or dependent users, than as traditional websites.

It is also the transition has been traditional applications to applications that work across the Web
focused on the end user. It is generating applications and collaboration services to replace desktop
applications. It is a stage that has defined new Internet projects and is worrying to provide better
solutions for the end user. In general, when we mention the term Web 2.0 we refer to a number of
applications and websites that use collective intelligence to provide interactive, networked
services giving users control of their data. Thus, we can understand how 2.0 all those utilities and
Internet services are based on a database, which can be modified by users of the service, either in
content adding, changing or deleting information or associating data to information existing.
DIFFERENCES BETWEEN WEB 1.0 AND WEB 2.0
Currently, we are immersed in an Information Society that has very different from a few years
ago characteristics, as it has evolved rapidly and has transformed various factors that are within it,
such as: how to communicate people, the role of the user in the network, resources and services
available
on
the
Internet,
use
of
information,
etc.
Therefore, we have introduced the terms "Web 1.0" (last stage) and "Web 2.0" (current stage) to
mention two different types of web, as have a number of differences due to the advancement of
services
and
resources
currently
it
offered
by
the
network.
Earlier in the "Web 1.0", users could only get information from the Internet, since it
consisted of static documents, exposed on the network, which were not updated, then going in
the "Web 1.5" pages created dynamically, using one or more databases. In both versions, users
had a passive role, since data could only get a few editors and web masters had created. Instead,
with the "Web 2.0", users become more players due to join the network a number of services and
resources that allow them to be more involved and can generate information, share experiences
and knowledge with other people express their opinions on various topics, etc. through blogs,
wikis and social networks.
ROLE OF TECHNOLOGY IN LANGUAGE LEARNING
Is vital the use of technology in teaching English language as this generates in students a desire to
learn because the monotony ends and becomes a playful learning, learning how students with
open minds willing to learn without pain and wanting more and interact more with people from
other parts of the world who are willing to share knowledge also of their hometowns at this time
in my institution a German volunteer who learned the English language perfectly and this
interacting with students, has cast losing it because they realize that the mistakes you learn.
The benefits for the students is very interesting because they can chose also academic, they can
decided what about topics learn, it is an autonomous learning because you have to your

disposition a lot of topics and knowledge . If the student is a dedicated person can benefit of all
this. In class the teaching will be more interactive and interesting, the student will be more
motivated in the different subjects and will have more participation of the students and the
learning will be wider.

CONCLUSION
Technology increasingly globalizing leaps and bounds and certainly the education must
keep pace with this progress of the internet and useful use this can give you is why as
achievement see in this work the Web 1.0 I fell short of this technology revolution giving
way to web 2.0 that has revolutionized the paradigms of access to information and as is
consistent educational models must also adapt to these changes in order to remain current
in their teaching models , different tools offered us today web 2.0 allow education systems
more dynamic and inclusive, plus there are a variety of different types of applications that
can be exploited in our model of pedagogy.
