In groups, students write


down the words created in
the Spelling Chain on a piece
of paper. Each student says a
word aloud before striking it
out from the list. Any
students from the other
groups who has the same
word will shout out Bingo
and strike out the word from
the list. The first group that
has all the words stroke out
from the list is announced as
the winner.
Teacher divides the class into
groups. The first student in a
group spell a word and
teacher writes down the
word on the board. The first
student in the second group
spell a word with the last

Teacher gives students a


graphic story and asks
students to read the story
silently. Then students are
asked to retell the story
using their own words in
front of the class. Students
are encourage to use the
words in the Word Bank.
Students are encourage to
prepare 12 pieces of small
square papers. Using a
dictionary, students find and
write the words with their
similar meanings. Working in
pairs, students are ask to
place the written sides of the
papers face down on their
desk. In turn, each word is
read aloud and student A
must find its pair. If the pair
is found, student A continues
on with the game. If the word
is incorrect, student A loses
its turn and student B takes
his/her turn to search for its
pair. The game continues till
all the papers are taken
away.

Students may take


time to arrange

Students can be
divided into
groups and assign
a representative to
