WHAT IS GRP WATER TANK?

Stable Construction

GRP Sectional Panel Tanks are constructed of panels made from SMC
(Sheet Molding Compound) by hydraulic hot press under high temperature
(150oC) and pressure conditions to maintain the best endurance.

Using stainless steel for the interior structure and plated steel for the exterior,
the panel exhibits excellent resistance to erosion.
Easy installation with on-site bolt assembly and Tank shape and volume can be freely
designed with no restrctions based on site location, weather or climate.

QUALITIES & SPECIFICATIONS OF PANELS

A. MATERIAL : HOT PRESSED SHEET MOLDING COMPOUND (SMC) REINFORCED PLASTICS
Unsaturated Polyester Resin Used for the panel is superior or equal quality with Class UP-G, which are determined by JIS R 6919 and good
quality in weatherability and water resistance.
Glass Fiber

Used for the panel is non-alkaline quality which are determined by JIS R 3411, JIS R 3412 and JIS R 3413.

Filler, Pigment

Used for the panel does not affect to the quality of water and to the quality
of the components of the panel.

DESIGN TO PREVENT ALGAE GROWTH

The panels are made by Sheet Mould Compound (SMC)
method to give low light transmittance. Thus low luminous
intensity on the inner surface of the tank penels prevent the
growth of algae.

HEAT INSULATION PANEL (OPTIONAL)

Insulated GRP panels protect water condensation in the tank and
minimizes temperature variation of the stored water to prevent
dewdrops phenomenon.
The 3 layer heat insulation panel minimize the heat losses and
maintain its contents in its original form.
