Model DBS-300 Standard Sieve Shaker

The shaker is designed to allow alternative use with either 200 or300 sieves, as specified
for test applications in the laboratories of building material industry, geology, metallurgy,
chemical industry, coal industry and medicine department for particulate material sifting and
testing.

3. Structure and principle

The shaker is composed of the upper and lower casings, the swing mechanism, the verticaltap mechanism and the sieve-clamping unit.

3.1 Circular rotation mechanism

Circular rotation of the sieve stack is obtained in the design of the mechanism to force the
particles to roll in all direction with 12.5 mm rotation radius of eccentric shaft

3.2 Vertical-tap mechanism

Vertical-tap action that automatically reverses up and down taps of 162 times every
minute is achieved with the rotation of cam assembly mechanism.

3.3 Clamping unit

When the sieves are mounted on the shaker, screw the knob in clockwise direction to force
the tap nut to move upward, at the same time the studdles will be moved forcedly to brace the
guide rod and clamp the sieves cover. Screw the knob tightly with the attached rod if
necessary.

4. Mounting and operation

4.1 The foundation drawing is available for users reference when placing the concrete base.
The base height depends on the users need.
4.2 Unscrew the plug screw from the top of the upper casing, and then fill the spindle
lubricant into the casing to the central line of the mark.
4.3 Connect the power supply with the electrical engineering regulations and make sure that

the shaker is grounded reliably.

4.4 Fill No. 30 lubricant oil into three oil cups.
4.5 Place the loaded sieve stack and the cover onto the shaker and screw the knob tightly
with the rod.
4.6 Time setting: place the toggle switch to timed position, then open the case of time
relay to set operation time (1-99 minutes). Start the shaker by press the power switch.
The shaker will stop automatically in set time. If it is necessary to stop the shaker during
operation, press the power switch again. If it is not necessary to set the shaking time,
place the toggle switch to untimed position. The operation will be controlled through
the touch of the power switch.

5. Maintenance
5.1 The spindle lubricant should be replaced when the shaker has been used for one month.
After that, replace the lubricant once every three months.
5.2 Fill the lube oil into three oil cups once every half of the working day.
5.3 While carry or operate the shaker, take care of the bracing rod and the guide rod in order
to prevent them from out of shape.
