Roles and Responsibilities

To be the primer mover of ICT for your IP area

Sharing of strategies and latest ICT pedagogy with IP teachers

Sharing of ICT SOPs and updates from HOD IT

Piloting new technologies and ICT pedagogies

Champion and share the use of ICT in Self Directed Learning (SDL) and Collaborative Learning (CoL)

Share and contribute on how ICT can be used for SDL and CoL, as well as on cyberwellness issues.

Performing the role of E-Learning Coordinator

Evaluating effectiveness of ICT-related lessons or programmes

To assist IP HODs/School in monitoring IT initiatives

Understanding the BY(i)TES documents thoroughly

Working with IP Heads to review BY(i)TES half-yearly

Cascading the score, good practices, AFIs to dept/unit teachers

Collating dept/unit planned Baseline ICT Standards into dept/unit monitoring matrix inclusive of
Cyberwellness

Collating Teachers’ BITs Thru IP to submit to HOD IT

To assist IP HODs in the area of:

Monitoring of Purchase Status for items in ICT Plan

Assessment and Review of Activities

Cyberwellness (For Cyberwellness Facilitator only)

Plan, monitor and execute key cyberwellness programmes for the school

Monitor and capture practices of cyberwellness in the school (From Dept/Units SOW,BITS Thru IP, etc)

Carry out Students Needs Analysis

Review of Cyberwellness Prorgammes and lessons resources in H3 SOW

Plan, develop and execute the Cyberwellness Ambassador Programme

Plan, develop and execute Cyberwellness Enrichment Programmes for students/parents
Professional Development

To sign up for at least 1 ICT course in 2010 related to applying ICT in IP areas

Training information can be obtained from ETD ICT Training brochures

To cascade ETD ICT Training schedules to teachers and encourage them to attend

To discuss with IP Heads in nominating at least 1 suitable teacher for ICT related competition.
