How many modules do you offer?
There are a total of 12 modules available:

1. Characteristics of Autism
2. Communication Strengths and Challenges
3. Understanding Social Challenges in Children and
Adolescents
4. Learning Styles
5. Understanding Sensory Needs
6. Understanding Stress & ASD
7. What is Applied Behaviour Analysis
8. Using Visual Supports
9. Paying Attention to Transitions and Transition Planning
10. Using Reinforcement
11. Functions of Behaviour
12. Promoting Independence for Community Inclusion
Who developed the modules?
The modules were developed by a multi-disciplinary team at
Geneva Centre for Autism. The team includes an Occupational
Therapist, Training Institute Faculty, a Speech and Language
Pathologist, and several Board Certified Behaviour Analysts.
Will the modules be available in English and French?
Yes, all 12 modules will be available in English and French.
Who will have access to the modules?
Everyone!
How long is each module?
Each module is approximately 30 minutes.
How can I access the modules?
English modules are available through
http://elearning.autism.net/en.
French modules are available through
http://elearning.autism.net/fr

Login to e-learning using your e-learning account. If you


do not have an account, you can create an account by
simply clicking on the Create new account link. There is
no charge for creating an account.
Once you login, click on the name of the course you
would like to enroll in.
You will be prompted to enter the enrolment key
assigned to your school board. Please refer to the chart
on the course page to access your enrolment key. The
enrollment key is based on your school board. Find your
school board and click on the Enrol me button.
Please ensure you select the read me first link prior to
beginning your course

Where can I get the enrollment key?


The enrollment keys are published on the course enrolment
page.
Where can I watch the modules?
Anywhere! The modules are delivered online via an e-learning
portal. You can access it as long as you can access the Internet.
How much are the modules?
It is FREE!
Can I get a certificate?
Geneva Centre for Autism can issue
a Certificate of Participation once
you have completed all 12
modules. If you would like to
request a certificate, please
email elearning@autism.
net. Please note that
certificates will not be
issued for individual
modules.
Is there a time limit
for completion of all
12 modules?
There is no
time limit for
completion
unless otherwise
specified by your
school board.
Can I pause the
course?
Yes. On each training
module, there is a
pause button on the
play bar.
Can I close the training
and come back again?
Yes.
How many times can I watch a
module?
You can watch as many times as you like.
Who can I contact if I am having technical
difficulties?
If you need technical support in accessing the modules, please
contact elearning@autism.net. Our support team is available
from 9 am-5 pm Monday to Friday. If you have additional
questions that have not been addressed above, please contact
