A 2 Days Hands-on Course on

INTRODUCTION TO CHEMICAL ENGINEERING PROCESS

SIMULATION USING
Date : 20 - 21 April 2013 / 9 10 September 2013

Aspen HYSYS

HYSYS is built upon proven technologies,

with more than 25 years experience
supplying process simulation tools to the oil
& gas, chemical, petrochemical, and refining
industries. It provides an intuitive and
interactive process modeling solution that
enables engineers to create steady-state
models for plant design, performance
monitoring, troubleshooting, operational
improvement, business planning and asset
management.

At the end of this course, you should be able to:

Understand and familiar with the HYSYS
graphical user interface
Enter basic input required for a simulation
Construct a simple flowsheet
Perform basic fluid property calculations
Solve basic problem relating to simple unit
operations
Perform reaction and columns simulations

Venue : Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Johor Bahru
