JK Express

A tour bus covering road trips across serene spots in the nation. Contests can be run
nationwide for people to acquire a spot on the bus. Sample route can be Delhi,
Manali, Parvati valley- Leh, Ladakh. This will intrigue the travelers across the nation
or perhaps even the world; and a lot of them can own cars. It can be done annually
or on a half yearly basis.
OR
Ask decide a circuit, ask people to register for the road trip and then they bring their
own rides. People who persevere and finish the trip with the JK volunteers should be
awarded prizes.
The road trip can also entail tasks such as participants going around and
documenting the local stories and life there either in the form of a blog (Written or
photo) or in the form of video. Eg: The mythical tale of Manali where a sage
defeated the ruling demon and bandished him out of the town. But upon the
demons request, he let the language continue. Hence you have the language of the
Devil- a hostile sounding tongue- spoken by people in that area.

Truck diaries
A documentary on the lives of the routine clan on the highwaysThe truck drivers.
The risk they put their lives in, long hours of driving, statistics show that HIV and
other viral diseases are widespread in the clan- this could be an interesting angle. JK
actually had an initiative for truck drivers on these lines so it can be a pseudoextension to it.
The documentary can start with wide shots of trucks racing down highways, with
intercuts of being stuck in traffic and the lead pipes they hazardously carry. Then
establish one speaker who appears time and again as an adhesive to the story. This
speaker should essentially be a seasoned truck driver who can have comments on
all aspects we try and cover in the documentary.
The points to cover can be:
1) Hatred from motorists on city roads
2) Income level vs Work
3) Risque situations for drivers (cars going beserk on the roads, unalert
motorists and pedestrians coming under their wheel by accident)
4) Risque situations where driver could be at fault (with examples and statistics
of such accidents- for eg: Truck drivers are often notorious of falling asleep on
the wheel)
5) Falling asleep on the wheel (constant driving makes the task a matter of the
muscle memory)
6) Their recluse lifestyles
7) Diseases and other maladies. (Alcoholism and other abuses)
8) Union initiatives.

9) What could be the demands of a truck driver?

10)
What according to them can make their life better?
11)
What can be practical solutions for their problems?
12)
Crime involved in the transport (if the tone of the documentary
remains interrogative)
13)
Their personal lives (at least two different personal stories from the
drivers)
14)
Breaking the stigma. Reconciliation with the motorists
15)
Suggestions from motorists on heavy vehicles regulations.
16)
Road safety norms.
Duration
Depending on the banquet of ideas selected, the documentary can range from
20 minutes to one hour.
And conversely, depending on the platform availed to screen it, the number of
ideas will vary. Hence an online video will be shorter, another form of release
(TV, DVD, Cinematic) would be longer.

Truck bus radial share of JK is 31% over other competitors

They have JK Tyre care center for their truck radial tyres. Make them refreshment
points? Offer snacks and drinks to the customers coming in? Bwaah.
