the alphabet cards.

Listen to the story called the tortoise and the


hare by using your own version.
Read the title pointing to the print ,
Ask the children if they recognize the
animals which are in the story

Before reading

the hare having a race.
Who do u think would win the race between
the turtle and rabbit?

After Reading

Ask who won the race?


Did the tortoise learn the lesson? What was
it?
Focus on :

Teach children caterpillar rhyme?


Trace letter G g on the board and say letter G
look like capital C but the letter G has straight
line, Trace small g and say that does not look
like capital G.

Hold up letter G, F, and C. Have children find


G and name the other letters.

The Little Engine That Could, The Tortoise and the
Hare, The Lion and the Mouse, and The Enormous
Turnip, by showing them the stories illustrations/
pictures/ using YouTube.
The children will start naming the stories.
Ask what happened in each story while showing the
illustration of each story.
Follow with students on the events of each story in
sequence.
Who do you see in the picture?
Ask what events took place of/ happened in each
story.
Which one of these stories do you like and why?
Compare and contrast stories.
Reviewing ABCS:
Review the alphabets using flash cards/ alphabet
chart.
Focus On:
Review and emphasize on shape and sound of the
letters Ff, Gg, Hh, Ii, Jj using flash cards.
Play a matching game on the board uppercase with
lower case.
