Design and fabrication of a wake screen in order to simulation the vessel wake field in
cavitation tunnel, Jun 2013, Under Supervision of Prof. M. S. Seif
A wake screen designed using different size of grids to generate a desired wake filed in the cavitation
tunnel in order to evaluating the propellers performance in the wake field.

Investigation of Hydrodynamics and Cavitational Behavior of 8 Different Marine


Propellers in Cavitation Tunnel, Winter and Spring 2014, Under Supervision of Prof. M. S.
Seif
Hydrodynamic performance of different propellers was investigated in cavitation tunnel. Also
their cavitation was studied using a high speed camera.
RANS Simulation of KRISO Container Ship (KCS) propeller (SVA CP 1193)
performance, May 2013, Under supervision of Prof. M. S. Seif
The KCS propeller (SVA CP 1193) open water hydrodynamic performance simulated in ANSYS CFX
and the effects of different turbulence models and different gird types were evaluated.

Experimental Study of KRISO Container Ship (KCS) propeller (SVA CP 1193) open
water performance in the cavitation tunnel of Marine Engineering Lab, Spring 2013,
Under Supervision of Prof. M. S. Seif
The model of KCS propeller (SVA CP 1193) was manufactured by CNC and its open water
hydrodynamic performance is studied in the cavitation tunnel. The results and the accuracy of fabrication
verified.

A cavity flow simulated using CFD Finite Volume Method (FVM).

Numerical simulation of ship motions in regular waves, Spring 2012, Under supervision of

A MATLAB time-domain code was developed to solve equations of motion in regular waves.

Computer programming for Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) and Laser Induced
Fluorescence (LIF), June 2012, Under supervision of Dr. M. B. Shafii and Dr. M. Zabetian
A MATLAB code was developed based on cross correlation algorithm in order to image processing for
PIV. Also a computer code was developed for LIF.

Computer programming for the wavemaker of Marine Engineering Lab, Summer 2012,
Under Supervision of Prof. M. S. Seif
A MATLAB code has developed in order to generate irregular waves in the towing tank.

Simulation of a dynamic system motions by Artificial Neural Network (ANN), Summer


2012, Prof. H. Sayyaadi
A 2 DOF dynamic system simulated by ANN technique. The programming languages were FORTRAN
and MATLAB.

The performance of different types of underwater breakwaters has simulated with ANSYS Fluent and The
