As you are building your sentences you should keep in mind that
the verb must always agree with the subject of a sentence. This
is true for all present tense verbs and auxiliary verbs.
The basic rule states that singular subjects need singular verbs
and plural subjects need plural verbs. In this lesson we will focus
on how to identify singular and plural verbs and their subjects.
For example, in the sentence I am a teacher, both the subject I
and the verb am are in the singular form. If the sentence had a
plural subject and a plural verb, it would read, We are teachers.
