School Birthday
Many thanks to all the parents who have sent in information regarding
the school’s birthday. Not long to go now so please keep it coming in. I’m
still looking for a pupil who came in when the school opened and could
speak to Year 6 about the late 1930s. We now have parents from the
1940s, 1950s, 1960s and 70s who are willing to talk to the children.
However it’s not too late to volunteer as well… If you have anything you can offer for
our exhibition in the hall please see Miss Lambert.
Elections in Year 4
As part of their citizenship education Year 4 took
part in their own mini election. The children
discussed a variety of policy issues
and built their own manifesto which
they presented to each other. The
event was completed with a vote
Candidates taking questions on their manifestos.
and unlike reality, a clear winning
party! Well done to all the children for their hard work.
