efforts are coordinated through your North American Mission
Board and individual state conventions.
Working together, Southern Baptists saw 908,165 new believers
baptized in 2008!
Six Southern Baptist seminaries (Southern, Southeastern,
Midwestern, Southwestern, Golden Gate, and New Orleans)
educate in excess of 16,000 pastors, missionaries, and future
church leaders each year. We are part of this through our gifts to
the Cooperative Program.

MARCH 2005
BEECH GROVE –We had a great Sunrise Service followed by a
breakfast with an attendance of 22. We are planning on having on VBS
June 14 thru 18th.
BOONES CREEK-VBS us July 19-23rd from 9am till noon. This year
we will be doing the Answers in Genesis VBS– The Egypt File.
CALVARY –Youth passed out Find it Here bags. Having a Senior/
College Graduate Banquet May 23rd. Making plans for VBS July 18-
23rd.
CENTRAL-Our Senior Adult Banquet was on April 24. On
Sunday evening, April 25 and on Sunday morning. May 21 our
Worship Choir presented ―My Savior Lives‖. Graduate
Recognition will be on Sunday May 23. Our Men’s Breakfast
with J.P. Blevins as the speaker will be on Saturday morning at
8:30 on May 15th. We will have a car show at Central BC on
Saturday June 12, 10am –4 pm which will benefit the Clark
County Community Service Center. VBS at Central June 14-18.
CLAY CITY-We had good attendance for Sunrise Service and
Breakfast. There was 102 at the Worship Service. Following up
on, Find it Here prospects.
CORNITH-April 30-May 1st, 2010-Mission trip to
Wheelwright, KY a success, with 8 in attendance. Helped
organizing their community help center. Sat. May 22, 7 pm-Sun.
May 23, 1pm, Fasting for World Evangelism. Sunday, June 13th
VBS kickoff 1-5 pm. June 14-18, VBS 6 pm-8:30pm, VBS
Family night 6:30pm, Friday June 18th.
COW CREEK-VBS in the planning.
EMMANUEL-GA’s along with WMU members and other
Church members attended Allansville Passion Play. GA‖s
learned there are missionaries in USA. They learned about an
Native American missionary called Mission Service Corp ran by
Daniel Goombi. The reservation, Prairie Band Potawatomi is
located in Kansas. They sent bibles with handwritten notes
sharing their favorite Bible verses to the missionary. They have
pledged to save two cents a day (for each GA) and the mission
offering will be sent at Christmas along with more Bibles.
EPHESUS-Held Revival meetings May 9-15 with 7 different
Ministers from Winchester preaching. Bro. Todd to preach at
Community-wide Worship Service at Cathedral Church of God
on May 16. Youth E3 Conference (Encounter Extravaganza at
Ephesus) June 5 includes Fellowship, Worship, Outreach, and a
defending the faith workshop. Graduate Recognition Service June
6, June Day Homecoming Service on June 13. VBS July 26th
through the 30th.
FAITH-Easter Sunrise Service and breakfast, egg hunt for the
kids. VBS June 19th. May Birthday Dinner. Revival coming
soon.
FRIENDSHIP-Hosted Hymn Sing on 29. Held several Cottages
Prayer meetings. Picnic Shelter just about finished. Work
continues on parking lots. New landscaping in front of Church.
HEIDELBERG-Had a revival on the 10-12, Was a good turn
out. Bro. Steve Wilkerson was the Evangelism.
HERITAGE– With Spaghetti Dinner and Rent-a-Kid, youth are
nearing their goal for Centrifuge. Cottage Prayer Meetings have
been taking place and will continue until Revival. Looking
forward to Revival with Bro. Don Mathis and July 4th,
Missions Freedom Fest with George and Cathy Chinn, as
Speakers. Everyone is invited to both.
HOWARDS MILL-Distributed eight hundred Find it Here
packets on the east side of Mt. Sterling
IRVINE FIRST-Easter Cantata ―NO More Night‖ was a
beautiful performance by the Choir and directed by Jeremie
Michael.
The 18th was High Attendance Day -75 for Sunday School. The
28th was our Pizza night. Faye Winkler and others gave us a good
variety of Pizza and Desserts. It was fun for everyone. Due to
weather the Assoc. VBS on May 3rd was canceled. The 2nd of
May was ladies Hat Sunday & Wild Ties for our guys, if you
didn’t wear one this year, plan on next year. May 11th is Men’s
work night every Tuesday. Every third Wed. of each
month is Sunshine Ladies meeting. This group does great things
for the Sick and Shut-Ins. June 6th is our One day VBS from 2pm
till dark. Come and Join us, be a part of the Happy Christian
Family Fellowship.
IVORY HILL-On April 3 we had an Egg Extravaganza with 90+
in attendance. We had an egg hunt for different age groups, cookie
decorating, egg coloring, face painting, photo taking, petting zoo
( lamb, goat, miniature pony, rabbits and dogs) and refreshments.
On April 4 we had Sunrise Service with breakfast served
afterwards. VBS will be June 13 thru 18 at 6:30 each night. We
will recognizing all our Graduates at all age levels with a gift on
May 23rd.
JEFFERSONVILLE-Mother’s Day Dinner prepared by the
Men on 5/8/10.
.KIDDVILLE-VBS is set for June 6th thru 11th. New Found Four
sang at our Church on 4-25, which was our high attendance
Sunday, the men also prepared breakfast that morning. The men
also prepared breakfast for our Mothers’ on Mother’s Day.
MACEDONIA-Had 140 in attendance during AM service on
Easter. Chairman of the Deacons, Jim Skidmore, lead our Sunrise
Service at our grounds. It was Awesome!.Spring Revival May 22-
23 with Bro. Bill Bales. Will recognize our graduating seniors on
May 30th. We are having a family night out to see the Reds play
on My 29th. Working hard to get ready for our VBS– June 21-25.
MEANS-Will host an all day VBS on Saturday June 19th.
NEW HOPE-Taking care of the sick and ministering to the
families that have lost love ones.
NORTHSIDE-Had a great turn out for the Assoc. Hymn Sing.
We had a Spring Fling on April 17 at our Shelter, with food, fun
and games. We are averaging 40 on Wednesday night, for our
children and youth programs. VBS is scheduled for June 13 thru
June 18th.
PANOLA-Spring Revival was a blessing. Thanks to Bro. Todd
Rader. Meal for Mother’s Day on May 9 for all the Ladies.
.POWELLS VALLEY-The Gospel Singing group ―Trinity‖
visited with us on the 18th and were enjoyed by everyone. Our
Choir had 17 members go and sing at the Hymn Sing at Spring
Street on the 26th.
PROVIDENCE C.C.-The Church will host the Talley Trio May
16 at 7 pm. We will have a potluck lunch on May 30 following
Morning Services.
PROVIDENCE, E.C.– High Attendance Sunday 124 in Sunday
School! Did not reach our goal of 145 but, still a great number.
Thanks to all who invited people to come. We had over 500
contacts!! VBS plans underway for July.
REID VILLAGE-We had a great Revival April 25-30. Good
crowds and souls were saved. We have started a youth group on
Wed. nights. We are still ministering to the Gateway Children
Service every Tuesday night. We still have our nursing home
ministry. We are making plans for VBS which will be July 19-23,
with commencement and cookout on Saturday the 24th. Our 5th
Sunday Hymn Sing will be May 30th at 6pm. Everyone is invited.
A total of 2 months for Annie Armstrong was 602.18. April 25th
was high attendance in Sunday School, our goal was 85 and we
had 87.

of April. It was wonderful to see the souls saved and rededi-
