DATA CONTROL

This tester can output measurement data stored in the memory to external
equipment such as a printer, personal computer (hereinafter referred to as PC) or the
like through a cable connected with the output connector.
(A cable and a printer or PC is needed to output data.)
For details of connectable equipment, see 12 "SPECIAL OPTIONS" below.
5-1. Connecting Equipment
This section describes how to connect external equipment.
5-1-1. Printer
(1) Necessaries
(a) Thermal printer: DPU-414 (S :Order No.810-622)
(b) Cable: For connecting the HH-401 with the DPU-414 (AKASHI Order
No.19BAA262)

(3) Connect the AC adapter
supplied with the printer to an
AC outlet of the specified
voltage.
If the HH-401 runs in the above condition, the batteries in it will run out quickly.
Connect the AC adapter to the AC joint connector from the printer connector. (For
the AC adapter, see the section on the special options.)

5-1-2. DIGIMATIC mini-processor

(1) Necessaries
(a) DIGIMATIC mini-processor: DP-1HS (MITSUTOYOOrder No.264-503)
(b) Cable: For connecting the DP-1HS (MITSUTOYOOrder No.937386)

When the DP-1HS is connected, the DP-1HS supplies electric voltage to the
HH-401. (The cable has no AC joint connector.) There are no problems if the
DP-1HS and DP-1HS are operated with batteries in the HH-401.
5-1-3. RS-232C communication
(1) Necessaries
(a) Personal computer: DOS/V PC
(b) Cable: RS-232C cable for DOS/V PC (AKASHOrder No.19BAA263)

When the tester runs on batteries, the clock is reset to the initial value when the
batteries are removed.
When power is supplied to the tester through the AC adapter, the clock is reset
when the AC adapter is disconnected.
The initial value is January 1, 0 o'clock, 00 minute.
