Rubric for Lesson Plan Project
Note: Sections are not necessarily weighted equally in the final grade.
Part Exemplary
Formal Lesson Includes all required parts correctly and
Plan Write Up thoroughly completed. Shows superior
understanding of topic and completely
assesses how to teach topic. No spelling/
grammar errors.
Process Paper Is two (no more than 3) pages and
addresses all questions asked in the
assignment write up. It is clearly written,
reflective, no S/G errors and shows
analytical thinking.
Annotated Includes all 6 required bibliographic
Bibliography entries (primary, secondary, internet and
non-internet sources) Annotations are in
correct form and listed in alphabetical
order. Answers 4 – 5 of the questions, and
has no S/G errors. Shows critical
thinking and the annotations are
informative.
Daily Log All parts are completed and show all parts
of project are fulfilled. Topics and tasks
assigned to group members outside of
class and topics discussed during group
meetings are noted.
Multiple All three MC questions reflect the
