PREREQUISITES: Electron Devices.


COURSE OBJECTIVES
1. To acquire the knowledge of basic PN junction and its applications
2. To gain the knowledge of basic structure, operation and characteristics of all
transistors.
3. To gain knowledge of multistage amplifiers and differential amplifiers.
4. To get exposed to various types of feedback amplifiers and oscillators
COURSE OUTCOMES
Upon successful completion of the course, students shall have ability to
1. Understand the construction, theory and characteristics of the PN junction diode.
2. Understand the construction, theory and characteristic of BJT, FET and MOSFET.
3. Gain knowledge about various configurations of the amplifiers.
4. Understand the construction, theory and characteristic of multistage and
differential amplifiers, oscillator circuits with feedback concepts.
