I am Sora a NEET who loves to play games. I have been summoned from
another world to your world. And through the ten pledges governing this world,
in just few days Im succeeding the throne of the known foolish king.
My beloved city, NO, my fellow humans, We Imanity live in a world where
war is forbidden by the ten pledges, yet weve lost again and again, and now all
we have left is Elkia, our last city. Why is this? Is it because the last king failed
us? Is it because we cant use magic? Is it because we are fated to die,
helpless?
No! In the ancient war, the gods, the elves, the warbeasts, all the races
fought, and we fought among them and survived. Why is that this whole
continent was once ruled by humans? Is it because were a race that
specializes in violence? We cant use magic like the elves, we are not physically
strong like the warbeasts, nor do we have the longevity of the Flugel. Why are
we able to rule the continent? Is it because we were masters of war? I tell you it
is not!
We fought and survived, because we are weak. In every time, in every
world, the strong polish their fangs while the weak sharpen their intellect. Why
are we in such danger now? It is because the ten pledges have broken the fangs
of the strong, and they, the strong, have learned to polish their wisdom. The
wisdom and strategies that we, the weak, once monopolize and the power to
survive the strong has gained it all! And that brought us to this state!

Answer me this! Why do you bow your heads? I repeat, why do you bow
your heads? We are the weak! We are the weak as we always been! Yes, nothing
has changed at all!
The strong may imitate our weapons, but they will never master them!
Because at the hearts of our weapons lies a fear born of all humiliating
weakness. This cowardice has given us the wisdom, born from learning and
experience, to predict the future itself. We are the weak who have, throughout
the history, torn out the throats of those who sit back and boast of their
strength!
I, Sora, as Elkias 205th king, hereby declare that we will live as the weak,
fight as the weak and with our wisdom make the strong bow to us! As we once,
and as we always be, the weak that can become anything because we were
born with nothing!
Now, lets begin the game. Youve suffered enough, havent you? Youve
endured enough humiliation, right? The wait is over my fellow Imanity. As of
this moment, my country, Elkia, is declaring war to the rest of the world. Were
taking back what is ours!

Respected teachers and my dear friends,
Good morning to one and all.
We all think and communicate. But how do we do it? We do it through
words, not just words but words in a particular language which others
understand.
Though it is easy to communicate in our mother tongue; that alone is not
enough in todays world. We need to consider the fact that people speaking
different languages mingle with us almost on a daily basis. There are people
from other states in the Philippines as well as a few people from other countries

who have come here to find work or just visit our place. Communicating with
all of them requires a common language.
It is here that English language and the knowledge of it becomes an
advantage. English may not be the most spoken language in the world, but it is
the official language in many countries in the world.
Along with that we find people moving out to other countries to
work. And English is the most used language for business communication in
the world. It is also not surprising that more than 50% of content in the
internet is in English.
Moreover, the best books and films in the world are produced in
English. Sometimes, popular and best-selling books in other languages are
translated into English to reach a world-wide audience. I am sure you might
have watched a film in Chinese and understood it because of sub-titles
produced in English.
All these facts prove the importance of English language. It gives us
access to business communication, the world of knowledge and also the world
of

entertainment.

The language itself is constantly in a state of change. It has borrowed words

from all cultures and civilizations it has come into touch with. You will find
words in English which has its roots in Greek, Latin, Sanskrit, Hindi, French,
German etc. So the ability of the language to grow and expand is one important
highlight of the English language. It is a truly colourful language and an
international language as well!
As a concluding thought, let us consider our opportunities for higher
education. It is an established fact that English is the language that gives us

access

to

Science; especially the

fields

of

Engineering,

Medicine,

and

Information Technology. Or think about a Post Graduate in Management and

the distinct advantage he or she enjoys if able to communicate well in
English! Thus English is the language that is used in higher studies and
research.
Finally, let me ask you a question? Would each one of you like to have a
jobnot just a job but a good career ahead? If the answer is yes, why not make
yourselves employable at the highest and the best spheres of work by mastering
the English language?
Thank you.
