Sunday Funday Fantasy Football League

League Bylaws, Policies, and Procedures

The following document outlines the rules and regulations of the Sunday Funday Fantasy
Football League. All Articles of this document are strictly enforced throughout the offseason,
pre-season, regular and post-seasons. Any violation of rules and regulations outlined in this
document will result in the documented consequences.
All concerns should always be directed to League Administration

Article I League Structure


A. Administration
a. The front office will be staffed by the Commissioner of the League.
b. The Commissioner shall report to the Champions Council (CC) and will be reviewed by
the members of the CC at the end of each season.
c. Impeachment
i. The Commissioner may be recommended for impeachment at any time, under
the following circumstances:
1. Recommendations for impeachment shall be made to each member of
the CC
2. The CC will handle each recommendation with the upmost sincerity
3. The leader of the CC will place the recommendation for impeachment
on a ballot for League vote for all members of the League, less the
Commissioner
4. In order for the recommendation to pass, a majority vote of the eleven
(11) voting owners much be reached this will require at least eight (8)
votes
ii. Upon being recommended for impeachment, the commissioner will relinquish
all duties to the leader of the CC who will assume the role of Interim
Commissioner immediately
iii. If impeachment passes, the leader of the CC will assume the post of Interim
Commissioner for the remainder of the fantasy season
iv. If impeachment passes, owners may run for the seat of Commissioner at the
end of the season (February) where impeachment occurred
1. A vote will take place by all 12 member of the League
2. Majority vote of nine (9) votes are required to win the election
d. The Commissioner shall assume the following duties:
i. Enforcement and oversight of the League bylaws
ii. Management of league site
iii. Answer to all concerns of League owners
B. Champions Council
a. The Champions Council (CC) will be formerly establish at the start of each season and
will operate under the following conditions:

i. Supervisory board overseeing the Commissioner and their decisions


ii. Comprised of the last four (4) champions of the League
1. At the end of each season, the oldest champion on the CC will relinquish
their duties to the new champion joining the council
2. If there are repeat champions, the CC will remain intact with current
members
b. All suggestions for changes in the League can be passed on to the CC or to League
Administration
c. Changes to any aspect of the League will be a joint effort between the CC and League
Administration
C. Owners
a. The League will be comprised of twelve (12) team owners
b. Each owner will possess a team and will have sole control of all actions of their team
c. Owners shall be responsible for actively participating in League activities and
communications as well as actively checking and controlling their teams

Article II Fees and Payout Structure


A. League Entry Fee
a. Each of the twelve (12) owners will submit a $25 fee to the League Commissioner prior
to the start of the League draft in August
b. This fee will be placed in a pool and will be used to pay out according to the structure
below at the end of the season (February)
B. Payout Structure
a. At the end of the League playoffs (February) the following payout of the entry fee pool
will be administered to the respective owners:

Article III Schedule and Playoffs


A. League Divisions
a. The League shall be comprised of two divisions of six teams each. It is at the discretion
of the Commissioner, CC, and general approval of League Owners to re-align divisions
from year to year.
B. League Schedule
a. The League shall play a 10-week regular season schedule. The schedule shall consist of
the following structure:
i. 5 Cross Over Games 5 Division Games Play each division opponent once
ii. 10 Division Games Play each division opponent twice
iii. A different combination that allows for more division games and less crossover games, but you wont play everyone evenly

iv. Extend the regular season and schedule similarly to 2015 where you played
everyone twice while also playing cross over games
C. Playoff Structure
a. The League shall observe the following playoff format:
i. Top 4 teams from each division enter the playoffs in an East vs. West format
ii. Top team from each divisional bracket will advance to the Michaela Bowl
iii. Consolation games will be played for lesser awards sample bracket to be
amended once finalized
b. The playoffs will begin in Week 11 of the regular season and run through Week 16 with
two weeks per playoff matchup (three round playoff system) this will be dependent
upon decisions made on the League schedule

Article IV Draft
A. Draft
a. Starting with the 2016 Fantasy Season, the SFFFL will be holding an annual draft
weekend in late August prior to the start of the NFL Season. We will work as a League
to determine best weekend and location so that hopefully all members can attend
b. The CC will advise the Commissioner on a recommended list of draft weekends in the
offseason of each year (no later than July 31st)
c. The League will vote on a draft weekend with a majority (9 votes) ruling the decision
(special circumstances can apply to this vote as the best decision for a draft location will
be made by the group as a whole in an orderly manner)
d. Draft order will be determined by the previous years standings last place drafts first
and so on
e. The League will administer a snake draft via the ESPN Fantasy Football online service
i. The League will have the option of doing an offline draft if all 12 members are
able to be in attendance for the draft weekend, in which case the Commissioner
will be responsible for coordinating or delegating the coordination of a draft
board and entering results in to the online service

C. Player Transactions
a. Effective with the 2016 fantasy season, a waiver-based player acquisition will be in place
for the League. The following parameters are in place with regards to the waiver
system:
i. There will be no limit on the total number of acquisitions that can be made by
an individual Owner
ii. The waiver period will be set a 1 day. This means that players will remain on
waivers and can be claimed for 1 day after the draft or after being dropped from
a teams roster during the season
iii. The waiver order will reset from week to week to the inverse order of the
League settings

D. Trades
a. There is to be no limit on the amount of trades a team can have throughout the fantasy
season
b. There is to be no trade deadline at any point of the fantasy season
c. There will be a trade review period of 1 (one) day
i. The Commissioner has the power to process trades at any time
ii. If the trade goes unprocessed for 1 (one) day, it will be automatically processed
unless a member of the agreement cancels the trade
d. The Commissioner has the power to veto any trade seen unfit or that could harm the
competitive balance of the League
e. Trade raping is strictly prohibited and owners will be penalized for such actions

Article VI The Gertz Clause

Article VII Amendments


A. Amendments are able to be made to the League bylaws during the offseason months (February
1 July 31)
B. Amendments should be proposed directly to a member of the CC or to the Commissioner
C. All proposed amendments will be compiled at the end of the offseason (July 31) and placed to a
League vote during the month of August
D. Voting and passage of amendments to the League bylaws must be completed a week prior to
the League draft weekend
E. Passage of an amendment to the League bylaws requires a total of 11 (eleven) passing votes of
the 12 (twelve) League Owners

Article VIII Administrative Notes


A. As of mm/dd/yyyy this document of League bylaws has been ratified by a League vote of 75% (9
owners passing the bylaws). This document will be the lone piece of legislature to be follow by
all League owners and management and will be active for a probationary period of one (1)
calendar year from the date of ratification, at which time pertinent amendments can be made
without normal amendment restrictions in Article VII and the document will be sent to the
owners for voting again. This probationary period will end on mm/dd/yyyy.
