Acknowledged that:

A) the Author applied for registration to the edition 2016 of the Contest, through the
submission form available at the URL http://www.fffmilano.com/submission/;
B) the Author received the notice that his/her film in competition, as above indicated, passed
the first phase of selection of the committee appointed by the Contest and it was admitted to
the second and final functional selection phase to the identification and announcement of the
winner of the Contest;
C) the Author read, understood and agreed the Terms and Conditions of the Contest of the
Fashion Film Festival Milano, available at http://www.fffmilano.com/terms-and-conditions/;
D) the Author is informed that the admission to the second selection phase of the Contest
depends on the grant of the present license to the use of the aforesaid film to Sofiamar S.r.l.,
VAT n. 08622530965, with registered office in Via Paleocapa 6, 20121 Milan, Italy
(hereinafter Sofiamar), and to the Fashion Film Festival Milano organization;
E) the Author is also informed that the present license has to be singularly granted for each
film which passed the preliminary selection and has been admitted to the following
evaluations;
F) the Author acknowledges that the present license has to be filled in every field and it has to
be printed, completed, signed and scanned; the relative scan, together with the scan of the
Authors personal identity document, must be sent as an e-mail attachment to the e-mail
address submission@fffmilano.com within July 6, 2016;
G) the Author acknowledges and agrees that the incomplete or missed or untimely mailing of
the present license will cause the elimination of his/her own films already selected by the

appointed committee from the second selection of the Contest which is functional to the
announcement of the winner of the same event;
given the above, the Author
expressly states
1) that the aforesaid film does not violate laws and regulations and / or third-party rights;
2) that he/she has legitimately obtained all the rights to use the audio and video contents of
third parties, without territorial, temporal and technological limits;
3) that, in case of portrayal of third parties, he/she has obtained every efficient consent to the
representation of the same third parties and to the use of their personal data, as well as the
use of image rights and personal identity rights, in accordance to what established by the
present Contest, the following editions, any representation and broadcast that Sofiamar and
the Fashion Film Festival Milano organization will create and to which they will participate by
any means and that he/she has made appropriate information about the relative processing of
personal data;
4) that he/she acknowledges and agrees that Sofiamar and Fashion Film Festival Milano
organization reserve, at their sole discretion, the right to exclude from the Contest and to
revoke any prize awarded to the works affected by any irregularity or violating the relevant
regulations or rights of third parties;
5) that, through the present statement, he/she licenses, free of charge, to Sofiamar and
Fashion Film Festival Milano organization any right to use and exploit the aforesaid film, parts
of the same or any derivative work inside the event of Fashion Film Festival Milano 2016, of
the next and further edition of the same Festival, even abroad, and inside all the connected
events where Fashion Film Festival Milano could be required to attend and participate, as well
as in all events and broadcast organized by Sofiamar, without any temporal, territorial and
technological limits and with specific right to sublicense the same work;
6) that, through the present statement, he/she licenses, free of charge and with specific right
to sublicense the same work, to Sofiamar and Fashion Film Festival Milano organization any
right to use and exploit of the mentioned film, parts of the same or any derivative work
including the right to broadcast, without territorial, temporal and technological restrictions,
the aforesaid film, in accordance to the limits imposed by the Italian Law on Copyright (Law
633/1941); through the present document, for example, the Author licenses, inter alia, the
following rights: a) to include his/her own film, parts of the same or any derivative work in
the archives and in the website of Fashion Film Festival Milano, available at the address
www.fffmilano.com, accordingly allowing everyone who is interested in to have in view and
examine the same work; b) to broadcast and televise it in analogue, satellite and/or digital
mode, within programs dedicated to the Fashion Film Festival Milano for Italian or foreign
consumers; c) to broadcast and use the aforesaid film through messages and contents voted to
advertise the activity of Sofiamar and Fashion Film Festival Milano, without limits of time,
space and technology; d) to broadcast, represent and, more generally, use the aforesaid film in
the social networks; e) to broadcast, represent and, more generally, use the aforesaid film in
digital platforms and/or channels, among which the Italian section of the platform D-play of
the group Discovery Communications, LLC; f) to use the aforesaid film in events and
representations, also artistic and cultural, created by Sofiamar and the Fashion Film Festival
Milano organization and to which Sofiamar and Fashion Film Festival Milano organization
shall participate on the themes art and/or fashion;

7) that he/she acknowledges and agrees the participation to the Contest involves his/her own
exclusive and personal responsibility for any possible irregularity and/or the contents in the
aforesaid film, as well as for any violation of rights of third parties following the publication,
showing, broadcasting of his/her own work and that Sofiamar and Fashion Film Festival
Milano organization refuse any possible responsibility coming from the use of the aforesaid
film, its parts or any derivative work;
8) that he/she acknowledges and agrees to be the one and only responsible for the contents of
his/her own film and for every violation of rights of third parties due to the publication,
showing and/or broadcasting of his/her own work, parts of the same or any derivative work,
as indicated above.
9) the Author relieves, holds harmless and indemnifies Sofiamar and Fashion Film Festival
Milano organization from and against any loss, damage, liability, expense and burden of any
kind that could be due to the content of the aforesaid film and/or to the violation of what
established by the present document. Under no circumstances, Sofiamar and Fashion Film
Festival Milano organization will be held responsible in favour of the Author for the default
and/or non-fulfillment or partial fulfillment of what established by the present document or
the Terms and Conditions already agreed by the Author, available at the address
http://www.fffmilano.com/terms-and-conditions/.
10) Moreover the Author hereby irrevocably waives any claim and any action, request or
reimbursement forwards Sofiamar and Fashion Film Festival Milano organization, the
organizers of the Contest, the members of the committee and any person in any capacity
involved in the Contest, right now holding harmless the same for any liability about it.
11) Finally, the Author states, acknowledges and agrees that the participation to the present
Contest and any legal relationship coming from the granting of the present license are
governed by the Italian Law and any dispute arising in relation to the present document and
any licensed right shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Milan.
