TASK 1: Understand the relationship between organisational structure and culture.

Organizational structure and organizational culture are highly correlated


performance factors. It basically defines the appropriate structure of an
organization in order to get more than average performance. Organizational
culture is a primary factor for employee turnover and job satisfaction (Bolden,
2004). If an organization possesses a strong culture of self-respect and employee
affiliation, it is no wonder that the employee retention rate would be very high
(Tracy, 2013).

All the workers of every organisation are being different because there are influenced by
various factors such as:

Personality: is being seen as the combination of emotions, thought and behavioural


patterns which is influencing how an individual reflects on their situation and how

they are interacting with others.


Perception: is being seen as the process by which is given a sense to the environment

by being able to interpret and to organise the impressions sensory.


Attitude: Attitude helps or not the employees to respond in negatively mode or
positively mode towards an idea, person, object, or situation.

Task 2: Understand different approaches to management and leadership


There are a lot of theories on organization. All these theories explain the
organizational structure and formation. Organizational theory explains the types
and forms of an organization. Organizational theory includes

Classical approach;
Human relation approach;

The classical approach is thinking that employees are doing their work for satisfying the
social needs and the psychological needs, as well as those workers might be motivated by
other rewards than financial ones. (Johnson Hackman, 2003)
The approach to human relations is being used by the organisation to encourage and to
emphasize into treating the human beings into giving those appropriate payments and
condition regarding the work.

Task 3 Understand ways of using motivation theories in organisations

The motivational theories are being useful because it might be effectively implemented into
context which is professionals for achieving the organisation objectives and goals. Into
applying theories with the workforce of the organisation, mangers have certain motivational
choices.
These theories provide help to managers into focusing on what drives individuals into doing
the appropriate work. The reasons why managers are using motivational theories because
represent the key function of being able to find employees who are giving their best within
the business work.

Task 4: Understand mechanisms for developing effective teamwork in organisations

The term of group is being defined as various people who interact and works together for a
purpose which is common. When individuals are working into groups rather than people, the
organisation goals are achieved easily. However to work within a group represent a task
which is complex. A working group within an organisation represent the main foundation for
the employees social identity.
Understanding the individual and group behavior in an organization and
developing them efficiently is a key to success in the business world. It is
possible by effectively motivate the employees to accomplish their tasks and
developing a strong relationship which should be based on trust and cooperation.
