Vice President for Academic Affairs Adamson University
Dear Dr. Castaneda:
Good day. Those who forget the mistakes of the past are bound to repeat it. The Adamson University College of Law will be holding a symposium Unchain the MemoriesEducate the Millennials on March 4, 2016: 1pm at the ST Theater. The symposium aims to educate our youths of the fight of our fellow countrymen to attain the freedom that we are all experiencing now. Also, to introduce two Adamsonian martyrs among others, hailed in the Bantayog ng mga Bayani, who suffered during the Martial Law and courageously battled against the Marcos realm. Furthermore, the families of our Adamsonian martyrs along with the representatives of the Bantayog ng mga Bayani will be speaking for our students and the rest of the Adamson community, to help us in enlightening our young ones about what happened in our history, and by making them perceive that our rights and our freedom should never be imperiled again. We will remember the value of democracy and freedom, as well as the love for nation displayed by the Filipinos who fought against the dictatorship. With this, we would like to seek for your assistance to invite students, deans and faculty members from different colleges to be a part of this significant event. May we also request for your presence on the said event, it will be our pleasure to have you there with us. We are hoping for your positive response. Respectfully yours,
