1.ANTECEDENTES

Por requerimientos y necesidades nacionales el MIDUVI est planificando la construccin de un


conjuntohabitacional;paramitigarlosefectosproductodelterremotodel16deabrildel2106queha
dejado una gran cantidad de damnificados. El proyecto estar ubicado en la Provincia de Manab. El
MIDUVI ha decidido contratar los servicios de consultora para desarrollar toda la planificacin del
proyectoenmencin.Unodeloscomponentesdedichaplanificacineselanlisisydiseoestructural
sismoresistentedelaedificacindelacasamodelo.

El presente documento tiene como propsito demostrar los criterios utilizados en el anlisis y diseo
estructuralsismoresistentedelaestructuraaserusadacomoviviendacasamodelo.

2.DESCRIPCINGENERALDELPROYECTO

De acuerdo al requerimiento arquitectnico se ha concebido una estructura de forma regular, de un


nivel;cuyasdimensionesenplantayelevacinsepuedenobservartantoenlosplanosarquitectnicos
comoenlosplanosestructurales.

3.DESCRIPCINESTRUCTURAL

Laedificacinesunaestructuradeaceroestructural.
No hay losas ni de entre piso ni de cubierta. La cubierta es un panel de acero tipo DURA
TECHO con recubrimiento de larga duracin, de acuerdo a la norma NTE INEN 2221. Los
paneles de cubierta estn asentados sobre viguetas de acero estructural. Estos se unen a las
viguetasmediantepernosautoperforantes.LasviguetasdeseccintransversaltipoI,asuvez
estnconectadasalasvigasprincipalesdeaceroestructuralmedianteconexinsoloacortante
Las vigas son de acero, con seccin transversal tipo I. Estas se unen a las columnas de acero
medianteconexinamomento.
Lascolumnassondeseccintransversaltipo I.Estassecimientanenplacasdeanclajedeacero
sobrelalosadehormignarmado.
Lacimentacinconsistedeunalosadecimentacindehormignarmado,sustentadasobreel
suelonaturalorellenoestructural(dependiendodelcaso).

Los prticos conformados por la unin viga columna forman nudos resistentes a momento y corte,
capacesderesistirlosesfuerzosproductodelascargasgravitacionales,fuerzasssmicasydeviento.

Noseentregunestudiodesuelosaestaoficina,porlotantoseasumieronvalores,enfuncindela
experienciaydelaszonasdondeseconstruirestacasamodelo.Seconsider:

La cimentacin toma en cuenta la interaccin sueloestructura nicamente en funcin de las


caractersticaspropiasdelterrenodondeestardesplantada.

Para una concepcin completa y global del sistema estructural es necesario referirse a los planos
estructurales.

5.CARGASDEDISEOUTILIZADAS

5.1Cargasmuertas
Se consideran cargas muertas a las acciones gravitacionales que actuarn permanentemente
sobre la estructura y no variarn con el tiempo, ms las acciones indirectas con carcter de
permanencia;paraelpresentecasosehaconsiderado:

Elpesopropiodelaestructura.
Carga muerta adicional: 105kg/m2 (instalaciones 35 kg/m2 recubrimiento 50 kg/m2
anclajesyotros20kg/m2)paracubierta.

Estas cargas se aplican simultneamente tanto para el anlisis y como para el diseo de las
armadurasdeloselementosdelaestructura.

5.2Cargasvivas
Seconsiderancomocargasvivasalascargasaccionestemporalesqueactuarnenlaestructura;
paraelpresentecasosehaconsiderado:
Cargavivade80kg/m2paracubierta.

5.3Cargasporsismo
La estructura ser sometida al diseo basado en fuerzas laterales tanto estticas como
dinmicas.

7.ANLISISESTRUCTURALDELAEDIFICACIN

Paraelanlisisestructuraldelaedificacinsecontemplaunanlisisriguroso,quepermitaevaluarsila
capacidad de los elementos estructurales propuestos en el prediseo y posterior diseo son los
adecuadospararesistirlascondicionesmsdesfavorablesquepuedanpresentarsedurantelavidatil
delaestructura.

Comoefectosprincipalessehaconsideradosolicitacionesdebidasacargasverticales(permanentesy
sobrecargas accidentales, anlisis modal espectral). El anlisis y diseo estructural cumple con las
especificacionesdelCdigoEcuatorianodelaconstruccinNECSEDS,ACI31811yAISC36010.

El empleo de programa de anlisis y diseo estructural (ETABS v.15.0) de carcter computacional,


permitirealizarelanlisisdediversosmodelosestructurales,hastaconseguirlasmejorescondiciones
en lo que respecta a los esfuerzos y desplazamientos de la estructura, previo al proceso de diseo
estructural.
