Symphonic Orchestra Library

Promotional Flash Memory Content por YAMAHA MOTIF XF

Symphonic Orchestra Library contiene:

128 User Voices

34 User Waveforms
336 MB Samples (979 Keybanks)

concerto.
memoria USER 4.
__________________________________________________________________
Important note:
By loading the All-file all current USER data in the MOTIF XF (User Voices,
Performances, Master programs, User Arpeggios, Songs, Pattern, Utility settings,
User Waveforms, and Samples in the SDRAM memory) are overwritten. User
Waveforms and Samples already stored in the Flash Memory are not overwritten.
If you haven't backed up your USER data yet, you should do so now (File Type all SAVE).
All Factory Voices can be restored by performing a Factory Set (UTILITY JOB).
__________________________________________________________________

Steps to install the file to the Flash Memory FL1 of the MOTIF XF:

Copy the file Symphonic.X3A onto an USB stick

Connect the USB stick to the USB TO DEVICE connector of the MOTIF XF
FILE F1 File
Type = all
Select the file Symphonic.X3A
FL1 > FL1 (= normal setting)
SF2 Load Yes

The installation process requires around 20 minutes. Please don't turn off the instrument
while Now installing to the Flash Expansion Memory Module is shown in the display!
If you want to install the Samples to the Memory Module FL2 you have to change the
destination setting to FL1 > FL2.

Steps to load single Voices into the SDRAM memory of the MOTIF XF:
Even if you haven't installed a Flash Memory Expansion Module you can load single Voices
into the SDRAM memory of the MOTIF XF (volatile sample memory). However, in this case
only single or very few Voices can be loaded due to the complex nature of the Voices and
the limitation of 128 MB for the sample memory.

Enter VOICE mode

FILE F1 File
Type voice
Bank = set destination bank USER 1, USR 2, USR 3, or USR 4 and Voice-No.
From the directory (Dir) select the file Symphonic.X3A
Press ENTER to call up the list of the Voices contained in the file
Press the button USER4
Select the desired Voice from the directory (Dir)
Change the setting FL1> FL1 to FL1> USR at the bottom right of the display
Press SF2 Load and confirm with YES. The message Now loading... is displayed

The producer: Prof. Dr. Peter Jung

Prof. Dr. Peter Jung was working as a freelancer (amongst others as MIDI specialist) for
Yamaha from 1985 until the end of his studies at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern
in 1990.
After graduating in May 1990 he was research assistant at the Technical University of
Kaiserslautern, where he was last employed as an academic senior councilor. A graduate in
physics he doctorated in 1993 for Doctor of Engineering in 1996 and qualified for the subject
of "message transmission technology." The Technical University of Kaiserslautern in 1996
awarded him the right to teach (lectureship). In 1998 he was also a lecturer for the subject
"Estimation and Detection" at the Technical University of Dresden.
In early 1998 he joined the industry. He worked for Siemens AG, Semiconductor Division,
and later for Infineon Technologies AG in the field of chip development for wireless
communications devices, eg for mobile phones, and has held several leadership positions.
He left the Infineon Technologies AG on 31 May 2000 and became Professor and Chair of
Communication Technology at the University of Duisburg-Essen on 1 June 2000. There he's
engaged with sound synthesis for some time now, in collaboration with renowned musicians
and sound designers.
Early in 2011 he created a Voice Bank for the Yamaha CP-1, which is available for download
free of charge for all CP1 customers since the second quarter of 2011.
