Reasons To Use Heat Pipes

A Heat Pipe is an evacuated sealed tube with a capillary mechanism

incorporated for the return of working uid.
Basically a Heat Pipe is a thermal energy absorbing and transferring
system. It has an effective thermal conductivity SEVERAL HUNDRED
TIMES more than an equivalent size of copper.
Heat pipes are readily available in standard diameters from 3 to 12 mm
and in length from 50mm to 250mm.Other sizes from 2 to 24 mm dia
and in any length are also available on request.

Directions and Precautions

1. Always use the Spring with Spring Guide. When used without the spring guide, the spring may buckle or bend midway and this can cause it to break.
2. Give correct clearance between Spring ID and Shaft, otherwise the internal surface of the spring may come in to contact with the shaft and be subject to abrasion at that point.
Excessive clearance will lead to buckling of the coil spring. It is recommended that the shaft diameter to be set approximately 1mm smaller than the ID of the spring.
3. Give correct clearance between spring OD and locating bore. It is recommended that the locating bore diameter be set approximately 1.5mm larger than the Spring OD.
4. The spring internal guide rod length should be more than half of the initial length of the spring.
5. Do not compress the springs beyond the limits prescribed.
6. The working temperature should not exceed 250 Deg C.
7. The springs are multiple is use, please do not replace one spring at a time.
8. Cutting of coils and grinding of ID or OD will change the physical characteristics of spring, which is not recommended.
9. Avoid entrapment of other parts between the coils which will affect the functioning the spring.
10. Keep mounting faces parallel to avoid bend and break.
11. Do not use springs in series to avoid damage due to load difference.
12. Do not use spring one in another, which may result in the inner coils being sandwitched between the outer coils or vice versa when they contract.
This can cause the spring to break.
