DearGatewayDevelopers,

BelowIwilllisttheprerequisitesandcommonerrorscenariosencounteredduringtestingSAPUI5applications
inQualitysystemswherethereisHubdeploymentofgatewayserver.

Prerequisites

1.Tobeabletosuccessfullycallthebackendcode,aRFCdestinationhastobecreatedingatewaysystem
pointingtothebackendserverwhichshallusethelogindetailsof'currentuser'.ThiswillbedonebySM59.

2.TheaSystemaliashastobecreatedwhichshallusetheRFCdestinationcreatedinstep1.Thiscanbe
doneviahelpdoci.e.gototransactionSPROopentheSAPReferenceIMGandnavigateto:SAPNetWeaver
GatewayODataChannelConfigurationConnectionSettings
SAPNetWeaverGatewaytoSAPSystemManageSAPSystemAliases
andcreatenewentry.
3.NowtheODataserviceneedstoberegisteredviatransactioncode/N/IWFND/MAINT_SERVICEto
consumetheabovecreatedsystemalias.

Tillthissteptheserviceshouldgetregisteredandyoushouldbeabletosuccessfullyfetchthemetadata.

Now,followingissuesmaybeencountered.
1.DataisgettingcreatedviagatewayclientbutnotfromUI5application.
Checkwhetherthevirusprofileisdeactivatedornot.Ifnotdeactivateit.(Tcode:/n/IWFND/VIRUS_SCAN)
2.Ifyouaregettingsuccess200ingatewayclientbutstillnotgettingdata.
CheckforproperauthorizationsforIWSV,IWSGandS_RFCACLobject.
3.Iftimeouterroriscoming.
GotoTcodeSMICMandchecktheProcessingandKeepAlivetimeoutparametersvalues.
4.Metadatachangeslikedatatypechange,addition/deletionofpropertiesetcarenotgettingreflected.
Clearthebackendcache(/n/IWBEP/CACHE_CLEANUP)andgateway
cache(/n/IWFND/CACHE_CLEANUP)

Iwillkeepaddingtothislistwithtime.

Furtheranalysiscanbedoneviaactivatingthegatewaytraceintcode(/n/IWFND/TRACES).
