Improved Probe
Heres an example of an improved probe. Notice that the new probe is very specific in differentiating
between carbohydrates and proteins. This probe is better designed to assess the learning objective.

Improved Probe:
A better option might be to recreate the question as a fill-in-the-blank probe, such as in the example here.
The fill-in-the-blank structure encourages students to think up answers on their own, instead of simply
choosing from a list of options.
