SEMESTER - 1
Engineering Graphics
(030050XXX / 030130XXX / 030040XXX)
Credits: 2 (Theory)

Version 1.02

Contact hours per week: 2 (Theory)

Objective of the course:

Engineering graphics is an effective language of communication between the engineers, so it
is important to learn this language. The language of engineering graphics can be effectively
used if its grammar is mastered. This grammar refers to the use of standard conventions,
notations and the methods used in technical drawing.
Student learning outcomes/objectives:
At the closing stage of the course, the students will be able to understand the fundamental
concepts of engineering graphics which are important for schematic drawing of the
components.
Instructional methods and pedagogy:
Faculty members shall explain in a class room using black board and multimedia projector
through PowerPoint presentation.
