July 11, 2016
According to Sheriff Gary Sisk, at approximately 0900 hours on this date, July 11, 2016, Catoosa
County Sheriffs deputies responded to a burglary in progress call located at 215 School Street,
Rossville, Catoosa County, Georgia.
Upon arrival, deputies were met by homeowner, Richard Brown, who advised he came home to
find his front door open and two men inside his residence. He advised an older model Honda
Civic, black in color with the clear-coat chipping off, was in his driveway. After pulling into his
driveway, Mr. Brown advised the men exited out a side door in an attempt to flee.
Mr. Brown described the two suspects, both black males: Suspect #1 is approximately 57 tall,
150 pounds, wearing a teal bandana on his face, black t-shirt and blue jean shorts. This male ran to
the driver side of the vehicle. Suspect #2 is approximately 64 tall, 180 pounds, having
dreadlocks or braids, wearing a black t-shirt and blue jean pants. This suspect, while running to the
passengers side of the Honda Civic, began shooting at Mr. Brown while he was still inside his
vehicle. Mr. Browns vehicle was struck several times by the gunfire; however, Mr. Brown was not
injured. The suspects then fled the scene. Surrounding agencies were notified of the incident and
asked to be on the lookout for the suspect vehicle and/or suspects.
The investigation is on-going. Anyone who has information regarding the suspects and/or the
