1. Show to the class pictures of Apple, Tree, Person watering plant and the sun.
2. Teacher asks students their responses of the pictures shown.
3. Students relate the poem they learned according to the pictures.
Activity 1
1. Teacher shows students two feeling cards containing feelings and emotions.
Teacher gives example of sentences related to the feeling cards.
Sentence pattern sample:
Have you ever felt.......................?
Yes I have. I felt.....................because.....................................
No, I have not feel ............... because ...................................

2. Students choose their partner and sit facing each other.
3. Teacher then distributes feeling cards to each students. Each feeling cards
contains different feelings and emotions. E.g/ happy, angry, frustrate, confused,
panic etc.

4. Students need to create a simple conversation with their partner using the feeling
cards given.
5. When they are done with their feeling cards, they are allowed to walk around the
class to exchange cue cards with the other pair.
Students given apple shaped cards to write their likes and dislikes about their friend
and foe (qualities of a friend)Teacher need to prepare a tree and paste in front of class
so students can paste their apples on the tree.
