: Introduction of AC Electric hauled train services on newly electrified BG single

line sections between Yelahanka and Dharmavaram via Makkajipalli and
Penukonda and Dharmavaram via Sriu Satya Sai Prashanti Nilayam stations
os Bangalore Division in South Western Railway.

Further to this Office letter dated 25.4.2016 and meeting with CEE/SWR on
25.05.16 along with Official of RVNL regarding the present status of the subject work, CRS
had observed the following:
1. Railways are planning to complete the Electrification work between Yeswantpur
Yelahanka carried out by RE organisation during the month of June and propose
for inspection of the sections simultaneously.
2. Fresh EIG santion is being issued.
3. Railways reply to CRS queries shall be submitted.
4. Deputing trained manpower is under progress. 34 posts have been created.
5. Railways are advised to submit drawing of OHE for the tunnel.
6. Railways are advised to test the function of safety Relays during normal supply
and feed extension.
7. Railways are advised to undertake current collection test.
8. Trials should also be conducted with freight train.
9. Joint inspection of section shall be at SAG level for OHE & S&T Department.
10. Tentative Inspection programme shall be proposed.

Therefore, you are, requested to forward compliance as per the CRSs above
observations.
