1-De qu trata? Qu quiere transmitir el autor?

De una mujer que piensa pedirle matrimonio a su novio, pero no se siente segura de s
misma y sus amigas insisten en que no lo haga. Por ello, le escribe a una revista de
mujeres preguntando su opinin profesional.
La revista le responde dicindole que no hay ningn problema en pedirle matrimonio a
un hombre, y citan algunos ejemplos de mujeres que lo han hecho. Tambin muestran
resultados de entrevistas donde ms del sesenta y seis por ciento de las mujeres se
atreveran y un ochenta por ciento de los hombres aceptara.
De paso le dan algunos consejos sobre cmo debera una mujer proponer matrimonio.
El autor del texto probablemente quera resaltar que la mujer se encuentra en todo el
derecho de pedirle matrimonio a un hombre y que si pensamos lo contrario es por
basarnos en una cultura tradicional.

Opinin
No dira que es comn en nuestro pas que las mujeres les pidan matrimonio a los
hombres, pero sucede y ninguna mujer debera sentirse como alguien con
desesperacin si decide proponer matrimonio ya que al igual que los hombres est en
todo su derecho.

1- What is the text about? What the author wants to say?
Its about a woman who thinks to ask her boyfriend to marry, but she does not feel sure
of herself and her friends insist they do not. Then, she wrote to a women's magazine
asking his professional opinion.
The magazine responds saying that there is no problem to ask marriage to a man, and
cite some examples of women who have done this. Interview results also show where
more than sixty-six percent of women dare and eighty percent of men would accept.
Incidentally, give you some tips on how should a woman to propose marriage.
The author of the text probably wanted to emphasize that the woman is in her right to ask
to marry a man and if we think, otherwise is to rely on a traditional culture.

I would not say that is common in our country that women ask men to marry them, but it
happens and no woman should feel like someone desperately if you decide to propose
marriage because as men are within their rights.

De dos investigadores que tras notar que el divorcio era muy comn hoy da decidieron
estudiar el matrimonio y el divorcio. Como resultado lograron crear una frmula
matemtica que puede predecir el divorcio. Para probar la validez de tal formula,
realizaron experimentos durante 16 aos con parejas y en el noventa y cuatro por ciento
de sus predicciones acertaron. Con esto buscan que la informacin les sea de utilidad a
muchas parejas y aseguren la supervivencia de su matrimonio.
Quizs el autor del texto quiere que reflexiones sobre el divorcio y seamos capaces de
evaluar la situacin de nuestro matrimonio.

Resulta interesante que exista una frmula matemtica que pueda predecir el divorcio;
pienso que el resultado de esa investigacin puede ayudar a muchas parejas en su
matrimonio y disminuir divorcio.
