It involves in carrying out programs of the


government, and it also plays an important
role in policy formulation and covers the
three branches of the government.

Business administration is the process of


managing a business or non-profit
organization, so that it remains stable and
continues to grow.

As to
scope

As an activity:

It embraces all the activities of the


government. It provides a number of
welfare and social security services to the
people. Besides, it has to manage
government owned industries and regulate
private industries. It covers every area and
activity within the ambit public policy.

As a discipline:

It involves Planning, Organization,


Staffing, Directing, Coordinating, and
reporting the Budgeting.

It focuses on those decisions that will


contribute to the realization of this goal:
how to obtain resources efficiently and at
lowest possible cost; how to produce goods
or services and how to market them
effectively to identified markets; how to
manage personnel so as to support
production
and
distribution
while
minimizing costs; and so forth.
