Participant Reflection Prompts for Phases 1

Think about the stage. As you think you may be able to organise your
reflections into different categories:
What did we do? We decided topics which are location,study areas, social
activities,technological devices, teacher and students profile and job
opportunities and our group name. It is Marvetedlous.
How did we do it? Why did we do it this way? After we had learnt this projects
aim and what its benefit is, we started to think what we can do to improve
ourselves and did brainstorming. Then, we have created a general outline. For
example, we thought that we can serve Turkish delight so that we can attract
peoples attention or we decided to poll with people.
What knowledge have I learned or developed? While we are searching about our
topics, we have acquired some information about what factors of an ideal
university are or we had information about successful universities such as
Harvard University, Oxford University. Besides, we have learnt how we can use
Google Drive and we started to understand by making efforts how we can create
the blog site.
What skills and attitudes have I learned or developed? We realized importance of
group works and understood that group works contribute our willingness to study.
While we are working together, we enjoy more than working individually.
How can I apply my development during this phase to other learning situations?
This project is preparation to my department as well as working life for me. So, it
contributes to my personal development and learning.
How can I apply my development during this phase to other life situations? It
helped to communicate with someone easily thanks to group work. Therefore, I
have more self- confidence. In addition, we had some difficulties in creating blog
site because we dont have idea about how it is created. However, during this
phase, we learned how we can overcome them.

What part(s) of this phase most surprised you? When I learned that there are so
many determinant of being ideal university, ,this was suprised me.
