2874V Hover Bike

Abstract
Our Hover Bike project is a flying motorized machine. It flies with two mini
helicopter blades in the front and a jet engine in the back. It will look a lot like a
chopper. It will have thrusters to hover, but it will also be able to have wheels, if
wanted.

2874V Hover Bike

Present Technology
Our Hover Bike will be based on present motorcycle technology. We will
use the chopper as the basis for our Hover Bike. Current motorcycles have two
wheels. Our Hover Bike will change that because it will have thrusters to hover,
but it will be able to also change back to having tires.

History
The first hover craft was invented by Christopher Cockerell in 1956. It was
originally tested in 1955 using an empty cat food can tin inside a coffee tin, and an
industrial air blower and a pair of kitchen scales. This led to the first hover craft to
be produced commercially, the SRN1.

Future Technology
The Hover Bike would almost resemble the present day chopper, but it
would have two turbo thrusters where each tire is located. The thrusters would
be able to retract into the tire so you could drive it like a modern day chopper.

Breakthroughs
We do have the technology to make a Hover Bike, but we havent improved
it enough for selling it in stores, but it is possible for it in the future to be sold
worldwide. It is still in testing, and isnt quite safe for human testing in public, but
should be in a few decades.

Design Process
1. Robotic Animal It acts like an animal, but is easier to take care of.
2. Phone toilet It is for when you are going to the bathroom and when the
phone rings then it is right there.
3. Teleportation device You can be at home and type in the device where
you want to go, and then it takes it to your destination.
Why we didnt do any of the three above ideas
There were not enough resources to completely develop the ideas.
Why we decided to do the Hover Bike
We had a lot of resources, and they could successfully make technology for
it.

Consequences
Good consequences: The Hover Bike will be faster than other bikes. It
wont have to wait for traffic.
Bad consequences: If you wreck the Hover Bike you will surely get hurt. You
pay for any damage.
