Pre Painted Metal Roofing Sheets and Accessories
- All pre-painted metal sheet and roofing accessories shall be oven baked painted and overall thickness
with protective coats of 0.60mm, true to profiles indicated on the Plans.
- Remove existing roofing and accessories (roofing materials, gutters, ridge roll, and other related).
- Install 0.60mm x 980mm pre-painted longspan corrugated G. I. roofing.
- Install 0.60mm x 36in x 8ft pre-painted G. I. box gutter.
- Install 0.60mm x 24in x 8ft pre-painted G. I. ridge roll.
- Install 0.60mm x 18in x 8ft pre-painted G. I. wall flashing 1 and 0.60mm x 24in x 8ft pre-painted G. I.
wall flashing 2.
- 'Install 0.60mm x 36in x 8ft pre-painted G. I. sheet for capping.
- Use rubber sealant for joints.
- Design/color shall be subject to the approval of the Architect/Engineer.
- The work done under this item shall be measured by actual area covered or installed with pre-painted
steel roofing and accepted to the satisfaction of the Engineer/Architect.

Toilets ( 6 units)
- Remove all existing wall and floor tiles.
- Remove all existing toilet fixtures and its accessors.
- Replace it with 12" x 12" Mariwasa (or approved equal) non glossy tile for the floor and 12" x 12"
Mariwasa (or approved equal) glossy tile for the wall.
Stairs at Main Entrance (3 Floors)
- Remove existing tiles.
- Replace it with approved 12" x 12" non skid granite tile w/nosing and approved 24" x 24" non skid type
granite for the landing area.
Carpentry and Cabinetry
Kitchen (modular cabinet)
- Remove and replace existing kitchen cabinet with new modular kitchen cabinet with synthetic garnite
top.
Bedroom Cabinets/Hallway (include Painting)
- Remove and replace existing cabinets and working table at room 5 as shown on the plan. Replace it
using 3/4" thick plywood, replace piano hinges and accessories, primed with Boysen Eco Primer B105 (or
approved equal) and paint it with Boysen Healthy Home B7410 (or approved equal) all room cabinets.

cracking.
Plumbing Works

D.1

General Requirements
Construction Safety and Health
- Prior to the start of any construction project, all construction project owners and their contractors/subcontractors are hereby instructed to ensure that a suitable construction safety and health program is
ready for implementation in accordance with Section 5 of DO 13.
- The general contractor or the main contractor shall be responsible for the submission to Department of
Labor and Employment (DOLE) of a Comprehensive Construction Safety and Health Program suited for
the project covering the activities/scope of work of all its contractors.
- The contractor shall, at his own expense, furnish his workers with protective equipment for eyes, face,
hands and feet, lifeline, safety belt/harness, protective shields and barriers whenever necessary by
reason of the hazardous work process or environment, chemical or radiological or other mechanical
irritants of hazards capable of causing injury or impairment in the function of any part of the body
through absorption, inhalation or physical agent.
- All Personal Protective Equipment and Devices shall be in accordance with the requirement of the
Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS) and should pass the test conducted and/or standards
sets by the Occupational Safety and Health Center (OSHC).

Building and Occupancy Permit


- Secure and obtain Building Permits before start of project
- Should be checked as to its completeness by verifying the beginning and ending numbers indicated in
the permit numbers. Missing numbers should be indicated, with corresponding reasons, in the
transmittal.
Mobilization/Demobilization
- The Contractor shall mobilize and put into operation all equipment and plants required to undertake the
Contract.
- Mobilization shall include the transferring to the job-sites of all equipment, plants, supplies and
materials, personnel, and all items necessary for the execution and completion of the work, and shall
also include the setting up of all equipment, instruments and all other plants until rendered operable,
subject to the confirmation of the Engineer.
- Sufficient supply of spares for the equipment and plants shall be carried on-board the towing/carrying
vessels. Equipment/plants encountering breakdowns must be repaired on site by the most expeditious
method possible at no cost to PPA. In the event that the equipment/plants call for major repair works
that cannot be undertaken at the site, the Contractor shall replace such equipment/plants with equal or
better performance capacity at no additional mobilization costs to PPA and the Contractor shall not be
entitled to any time extension.
- The dismantling, preparation and loading for removal and shipment of all Contractor's plant, equipment
and personnel at each site after completion of the works.
- Transportation of all the above plant, equipment and materials from each site to the Contractor's home
station or somewhere else outside the sites.
- Removal of all supplementary markers furnished and installed by the Contractor, provided that the
Engineer has not taken the option to retain the markers.
- The clean up of the Site and the removal of materials, debris, waste, etc., and making good damages
or temporary alterations.

Hauling of Debris

- Waste materials must be checked by proper/designated personnel of the owner before proper disposal.

Bonds and Insurance


- To protect against an adverse event that causes disruptions, failure to complete the project due to
insolvency of the builder(s), or the job's failure to meet contract specifications.
- The Contractor shall comply to the specified works reflected in the contract.
CARI (Comprehensive All Risk Insurance)
- To ensure that all parties are covered on a project, regardless of the type of damage to the property or
who caused the damage
- Insurers who underwrite this type of policy lose the right to subrogation, meaning that if it pays out
funds to one party in the contract then it cannot seek to recover those funds from another party in the
contract.

- Contractor is to schedule work so that paint is applied when weather conditions are in accordance with
manufacturer's specifications.
- Scrape to bare allmloosely adhering paint film.
- Surface to be painted must be clean and dry prior to painting.
- Correct surface imperfection using Konstruct Permaplast Skimcoat K201 (or approved equal) mixed
with Holcim Wallright (or approved equal) until trowellable consistency.
- Use Boysen Wallguard B5715 primed with Boysen Eco Primer B105 (or approved equal).
- Scaffolding should be installed by a certified scaffolding erector, supervise and inspected by a certified
scaffolding inspector and designed by a structural Engineer.
General Requirements
Hauling and disposal of debris and clean up
- Waste materials must be checked by proper/designated personnel of the owner before proper disposal.
Construction Safety and Health
- Prior to the start of any construction project, all construction project owners and their contractors/subcontractors are hereby instructed to ensure that a suitable construction safety and health program is
ready for implementation in accordance with Section 5 of DO 13.
- The general contractor or the main contractor shall be responsible for the submission to Department of
Labor and Employment (DOLE) of a Comprehensive Construction Safety and Health Program suited for
the project covering the activities/scope of work of all its contractors.
- The contractor shall, at his own expense, furnish his workers with protective equipment for eyes, face,
hands and feet, lifeline, safety belt/harness, protective shields and barriers whenever necessary by
reason of the hazardous work process or environment, chemical or radiological or other mechanical
irritants of hazards capable of causing injury or impairment in the function of any part of the body
through absorption, inhalation or physical agent.
- All Personal Protective Equipment and Devices shall be in accordance with the requirement of the
Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS) and should pass the test conducted and/or standards
sets by the Occupational Safety and Health Center (OSHC).
