Attendance
Our
attendance has improved. A number of
children
have achieved 100% this year. Well done to all those that have done so.
Please be aware that if your child is absent at the end or start of a term,
evidence will be required. This is in line with the LEA attendance regulations.
Any unauthorised absence may incur a fixed penalty fine of 120 per parent
per child.
E-Safety Mark
An Assessor from the South West Grid for Learning recently visited Downsell Primary
School to review the schools e-safety provision. The Assessor met school staff, parents and carers, Governors and pupils and was pleased to find that the school provides a high level of protection for users of the new technologies.
Following their visit the Assessor reported that the distributed leadership structure has
empowered leaders to cohesively work together to raise the profile of e-safety throughout the school. The e-safety lead is passionate and driven
in this area of school improvement.
Well done to Miss Rahman for achieving the award for our
school
Private Fostering

Safety and Citizenship, to educate students about personal safety, respect,
responsibility and awareness both on and around public transport.
On Thursday 14th July 2016 the children will be taking part in the Waltham Forest
