Annita Wilschut
Jacobus is knitted circular in one
piece without any seams on
circular needles or using dnps.
When you finish the knitting, you
can stuff Jacobus, without having
to seam the parts together
first. You start knitting at the top
of the head, knit down to the
body and the legs. Afterwards
the arms, the ears, the tail and
the muzzle are added.
This pattern is designed by Annita
Wilschut and the copyright is
hers. It is not allowed to multiply
the pattern or use it for
commercial purposes without
approval of the author.
General instructions

[2] From here on the face is knitted in a contrasting color. You need to knit with two colors in rounds. To do so, we
alternatively knit a round on the right side of the work and purl a round on the wrong side as follows:
7.
(Right Side) Knit 2 sts in the main color (MC). Switch to the contrasting color (CC) and knit as follows: k3 * k3
[3]. Turn the work [4]
8.
(Wrong Side) Each round starts with the MC. Therefore, slip the 7 sts in CC to the right-hand needle [5].
Wrap the loose beginning of the CC yarn around the working thread in MC. Now purl 22 sts in MC. Wrap the MC
thread around the CC thread and purl the 7 face sts with in CC. Turn the work [7].
9.
(Right side) Slip the sts in CC to the right-hand needle. Now knit the MC sts as follows (knit the first st tight
to prevent a hole between the face and the rest of the head) k4 * k14 * k4. Now you have reached the color change.
Wrap both working threads around each other [8] and knit the CC-sts as follows: k3 * k1 * k3. Turn the work.
Continue knitting in the same way: for each row, first slip the CC-sts to the right-hand needle, then work the sts in
MC, wrap both threads around each other and then work the CC-sts. Always work the first st of a color thightly.
