DESCRIPTION OF WORKS

7.1

Site preparation:

Bases are sufficiently flat so as to permit specified levels and flatness of finished
surfaces.

7.2

Bases are cleaned and free from plaster, dirt, dust and oil.

Set pegging to floor and wall.

Application:

Apply with a single coat of bonding agent by brush or roller, taking care to work
the mixed material with the substrate. Ensure a uniform coating is achieved and
make sure no ponding occurs when applied horizontally. When used as an antichloride barrier two coats will be required.

Pour the screeding concrete onto the floor according to the shop drawing.

Using guiding lathes/battens of predetermined thickness, apply the non-flowable

screed to the base and compact by stamping.

Apply one coat at 4.5 5.5 m 2 / litre by low pressure knapsack spray or brush or
woolen roller. Apply as soon as possible after free water evaporates from
horizontal surfaces or vertical forms are stripped.
