AGILITY COURSE TEST (ACT), LEVELS 1 AND 2

Briefing and Walk Through 10:30AM, First dog on the line at 11:00AM
Grounds open at 9:00AM
Cost $12/ run pre-entry - Day of show entries $15/run (both includes $5 AKC recording fee)
Two Level 1 courses will be run followed by two Level 2 courses.
Level 2 will not begin before 1:00 PM. Entry Limit 100 runs.

Come earn an Agility title on your dog in a trial atmosphere. Dogs must be 15 months to enter. Pre-entries encouraged
but not required. If you pass both ACT 1 tests (it takes 2 passes to earn the title) you may move up and enter ACT 2 the
same day. You may also begin at Level 2 . Level 1 title not required before entering Level 2.
ACT Level 1 is designed for th e begin ning level dog. Th e cour se m ust b e co m pleted in less th an 60 seconds. 10 - 12 obstacles will include an A -Frame set at 5 for all heights, a table, tunnels and jumps. No Dogwalk, Seesaw, Weaves, Closed Tunnel, Double or Triple or Broad Jump. Minimum score of 85 to Qualify. This level basically
shows beginning sequencing and performance skills. If you pass (2) ACT Level 1 courses you can move up to level 2 in
the same day.
ACT Level 2 This level r equ ir es an incr eased sk ill level show n by the additio nal obstacles to b e per formed. Time for all jump heights will be 70 seconds and there will be 11 - 13 obstacles. The ACT2 will have a Teeter, 6
Weaves, A-Frame still set at 5, and a tire, in addition to jumps, tunnels and the table. The Dogwalk, Closed Tunnel,
and Spread Jumps are allowed. Minimum score of 85 & is open to all dogs that have not earned a title in any AKC
agility class except an ACT1.
For all levels, both passing scores can be under the same judge. Refusals will not be judged. No more than 3 attempts
at an obstacle or it will be an elimination (failure). The remainder faults are the same as in regular Agility classes. Dogs
may jump any jump height, 4,8,12,16,20,24.
A jump height card is not required to enter. Dogs that are not AKC registered/listed may participate & their performance will be recorded by the AKC under a temporary recording number. This temporary number will be emailed to
the owner and must be used when entering subsequent ACT events. Note: temporary recording numbers may only be

*Please bring a snack to share, water and coffee will be provided.


*Please volunteer to help! Working at an agility trial is an important part of learning about the sport. Help will be
given to learn the jobs.
*Green flat qualifying ribbons will be given to all qualifiers. Flat placement ribbons will be given for 1st though 4thplacements at each jump height. See attached entry form for further information.
