Cyberbullying
Cyberbullyingisa2houronlinecontinuingeducation(CE/CEU)coursethatreviewsevidencedbasedresearchfor
identification,managementandpreventionofcyberbullyinginchildren,adolescentsandadults.Bullieshavemoved
fromtheplaygroundandworkplacetotheonlineworld,whereanonymitycanfacilitatebullyingbehavior.
Cyberbullyingisintentional,repeatedharmtoanotherpersonusingcommunicationtechnology.Itisnotaccidental
orrandom.Itistargetedtoapersonwithlessperceivedpower.Thismaybesomeoneyounger,weaker,orless
knowledgeableabouttechnology.Anycommunicationdevicemaybeusedtoharassorintimidateavictim,such
asacellphone,tablet,orcomputer.Anycommunicationplatformmayhostcyberbullying:socialmediasites
(Facebook,Twitter),applications(Snapchat,AIM),websites(forumsorblogs),andanyplacewhereoneperson
cancommunicatewithoratanotherpersonelectronically.
Codependency:Causes,ConsequencesandCures
Inthiscourse,theauthoroffersindepthandinpersonstrategiesfortherapiststouseinworkingwithclientswho
presentwiththecharacteristicbehaviorpatternsofcodependency.Clientsareusuallyunawareoftheunderlying
